The discord Archy is referring to has been around for over 2 months. It was created long before the merge happened. It was just determined that it was more convenient and safe of a way to have staff chats versus having them on laggy ass skype that also had security flaws. There are public chats in the discord, but as of now, only select people have access to it I believe.
