So people who have been clearly hacking on ranked and have got a decent amount of elo getting banned is fair right? Well no, not really, because the elo they have got illegitemately is actually preventing some people to clinb higher on the leaderboards, there are people like Woahdanteh who is precenting people from the no1 stop in buildUHc which is a huge thing, yet he was cheating. Can i ask, once you get a g cheat or a cheating ban, can there be an elo wipe too? because they arened that stuff illegetimatelyPosted on 03 May 2016 - 03:22 PM
WoahDante wasnt hacking, he was elo manipulatingPosted on 03 May 2016 - 03:44 PM

Record evidence to dispute of your 'false ban'. Sadly, there's little chance without paramount authentication such of which as technological resources

I agree with you but maybe if the ban appeal was regarding admitting to hacking then maybe an elo wipe but if they victim isn't guilty and argues their point with valid verification then not an elo wipe

No im just saying is that not all people are going to be able to defend themselves if they get falsely banned.
PS: I get less than 30fps average

Personally, I can't play on 45-50fps, I've got a really bad pc and I used to run 45 but I installed optifine and modified my minecraft settings so now I play 200 fps

Maybe if Gcheat "catches" them and they plead guilty (say yes to cheating) then it gives them their unban time as well as wiping their ELO. Or if their appeal doesn't get accepted then their Elo is wiped. Not Automatically, since some people are false banned.

Im just talking/meant the mods who "catch" cheaters.

Here's a thought.Lets have ELO Modifications as a Punishment. Say you're banned? Your ELO should be reset unless you can prove that you got a certain amount legit.
For mutes? -x amount of global ELO average.
That way the salty sweaters learn to control their tantrums.

But what if I'm a mod and I type. /Ban Ba. then I get tab but it turns into /Ban Banana. ?? And I'm trying to /Ban BadGamer1264? Then that person loses all of there elo of no reason. Also what if I got banned for hacking when I really didn't? Then they unban me and I have NO elo at all. Now I get what you are saying but elo wipe may not be the answer.Posted on 04 May 2016 - 05:31 PM
What? If they don't have anything to record how can they prove it?? I get what you mean but I don't thing that's the answer. Also what's a sweaty try hard?Posted on 04 May 2016 - 05:33 PM
We can't ALL record. So I don't think that's a good idea.Posted on 04 May 2016 - 05:50 PM

You can modify ELO, but it's not a very staff-friendly method. It can be done, tho.
