You guy's opinion on Badlion And Kohi integration
Well my personal opinion on this is that it could bring Badlion more money. It brings in alot of new Kohi players who might be interested in arena pvp etc and might donate. So that's an advantage that badlion has. I don't really see a down side about it. Any of you?

Well I don't really have an opinion on it, the thing that I'm going to enjoy the most is being able to compete with kohi players and obtaining more experience with my pvp against these types of players.

eh i think its the best thing that happened to badlion in a while, but kohi seems really mad about it and i cant speak from their side since i dont really play on there

I think it's a very smart move on the owners' part. They are in the process, and almost finished with, making the most competitive Minecraft PvP server. Of course, because of all of the competitive players coming in and mixing with Badlion's competitive players-there's going to be chat problems. Obviously, the staff from Kohi being added to the team on Badlion will help out, but the staff from Kohi will probably have to learn to not be so lenient if they were on Kohi beforehand. Yes, it will bring in more money so that's already a plus for them. As for the players, it will probably make a lot of people better at the game having it be so competitive. They'll have to learn to try to keep up with everyone, which is positive for them because why play on a PvP server if you're not good at PvP? That's no fun, lol.

My overall opinion on this entire merge in general, though, is that I'm already pretty comfortable with it so far. I don't mind a thousand or so more players joining us, we'll learn to all get along. =)

Kohi would've died out within next year, from MineHQ's takeover to HCTeams' competition. Definitely don't want to see their plugins/prac 2.0 die out, so I'm all for this. Only problem is that there are going to be absolute gods in arena's potpvp ladders lel

I really agree with this. It gives us a chance to mix in with other new players. And yeah it revives the pot pvp of badlion. It might even bring back factions. So then we would have a big diversity of players.

I personally think merging was a good idea! Its bringing two good pvp server merging them so the server stays active and does not die. Also with new people joining they can help out the network by buying ranks. More people, more ranks, more money, network says longer. I dont see any problems with them merging and think it was a well thought idea from both sides.

There's both downsides and upsides to this. One of the upsides being it'll revive pot pvp on Badlion, and make it better overall. Most of the old pot pvpers went to Kohi since they focus on pot pvp rather than what Badlion has become, which is basically UHC. With this merge, new players will come and just revive pot pvp in general. It can also bring personal improvement, both to Kohi and Badlion players (better at pot, better at uhc).

Another upside is that it'll bring a better anti-cheat, as well as other plugins in general. It's bringing best of both servers and making one huge competitive server. I can't think of many other major upsides.

An downside that I hadn't thought about until Hivlik mentioned it in his elo series is that it'll remove competition. That may sound like a good thing, and it is, but it's also a bad thing. Without any major competition, there won't be a reason to upgrade the server. Competition is the usually the only reason why a server continues to try to be the best it can. Without that Kohi and Badlion competition there isn't any reason to update, upgrade or whatever. Of course, it's possible that they continue bringing new, better things without needing any reason for it other than player satisfaction but this is a possible thing. I guess we just need to hope that doesn't happen. But I don't doubt that Badlion/Kohi or whatever you wanna call it will stop making as many adjustments.

Another downside as well is the toxicity from the Kohi community. I personally don't mind it, unless they say things such as "gang gang" "l" and shit like that because it's cringy as fuck. But it'll definitely be hard on staff, gl to them.

I personally am happy with the update, but there's some downsides. Most of them I don't mind though.
