'New posts' button for forum
Posted on 07 May 2016 - 08:27 AM
Hey! I'm relatively new here and I thought I might share a suggestion that I've seen on various other forums and sites to help users browse posts on the forum.A 'new posts'button could be put anywhere on the forum to allow users to see recent or 'new' posts that have been made on badlion.net. This feature would also benefit staff members who I'm sure don't enjoy having to look through each subsection.
A simple suggestion but if added this would be a very helpful feature.
I hope to see you all around!

Not quite sure what the benefit of this is, it just messes with the website traffic rather than actually providing a function. This already exists on the outside of any forum container as you can see the last made post, meaning this is no more than a duplication of already existing information. I personally feel these tools are quite tatty, but I'm equally interested to see if something like this comes up in the website upgrade soon.Last edited on 09 May 2016 - 12:40 AM by Oak

Correct me if I am wrong but I am not sure you fully understand what I mean.
Here is an example from a server that I used to be staff on. I remember we used it all the time to quickly check posts that had just been made so that we could moderate more efficiently without going through each subsection. It also makes it easier for regular members who love using the forums. Before I was staff I used this feature all the time to browse the forums.
