Hey, this will be my pretty much suggestions for season 13, I'm going to suggest pretty much everything I think may be positive and would encourage everybody to read this post.1. Split Potpvp And MCSG/UHC into two seperate servers
Well this one can be quite obvious, the reason for this is that if season 13 were to open it would pretty much end up like this:
Anyways I don't think the two communities will mix well for a while making me think it will slowly kill off the potpvp community in a form that potplayers who enjoy genuinely enjoy potpvp will just go off somewhere else because half the time they will just be fighting randy 1400's (believe me I got 2.1k in no debuff and all I had to do was slay a horde of mcsg players who have no clue how to play pot).
Now I know that like 90% of kohi community are pretty much people who spam L (even I do because im an idiot who goes with the crowd :D) and act like they are a fucking gangster ready to pop a cap in your ass) but like I think the salt will be too much to take even for our standards.
I would much rather cringey meme spam than DUEL ME BUILD UHC GODS ONLY shit that is in the chat ALL the time.
I just really want them two seperate things, now about the unlimited ranked matches thing on kohi, introduce shit like red rovers on the server where you have to be a donor to start one and you have a really long cooldown every time you do and the lower your rank the less time thing just because donations, I would love to see redrovers implemented tbh.
2. Any potpvp/gapple ladders and mcsg/uhc ladders are on seperate leaderboards
Let me say this (in my own opinion) I absolutely fucking HATE mcsg/uhc and consider it bullshit pvp where all you pretty much do is kite and bowspam to win with your handy golden apples to make the fight go on forever (I got 2k in build) and I think nearly everyone would want these two types of nearly completely different pvp into different leaderboards becuase it feels much more competitive for potpvp.
There isn't much more to say about this but this would be a dream come true if it happend.
3. Let kohi staff handle potpvp server and badlion staff handle mcsg/uhc server
If my suggestion 1 and 2 do come true by a miracle I would want to see these two types of staff members moderating their own original server, the reason for this is simple (and edgy),
from my time on bl and kohi, too many bl mods can't differentiate hacks and skill for speed II pvp.
Now certainly exceptions can be made but set up applications where potpvp and mcsg/uhc are different.
4.Achievements system
What better way to show off than have a hand full of achievements that are hard to get?
No shitty achievements like join server for first time, only elo related achievements like get 2k in a certain ladder or reach #1 global etc.
Also like badges for your profile too say if you become #1 global or a close call achievement like win by half a heart in ranked.
Make sure to have cool names for it too AND NO TIERED ACHIEVEMENTS, I don't feel like killing 999999 players in some fucking ladder for a trophy.
Leveling system would also be nice (づᗒ ͟ل͜ᗕ)づ
5. Gcheat update/judgement day?
The problem with kohi at like 1400+ in ladders is that I pretty much fight more cheaters than actual legit players, some players are fucking blatant too so I have no idea why you unbanned 36000 peasants without updating ur anticheat first to catch the cheaters of habit >.>
I would be picky and say judgement day and s13 together but that would probably wayyyy too much work unless ur willing to spend a long time forming season 13 because I would much rather a lovely, polished and playable server with a nice atmosphere nearly cheater free for a while because of judgement day along side it than some ghetto-ass shitty cake with a slightly different cherry on top.
But really, I'm fighting a shitload of cheaters mainly in pot.
6. Have your highest ladder elo as a prefix (or the sub-something title) to grow good player's e-pen and make their hard earned elo more satisfying
If you don't want to show ur elo, just make a setting to hide it, for every 100 elo you go up, a different colour you get to show off.
That is pretty much all and I would love constructed criticism and reasons to improve any of my suggestions, I'm open too any ideas because I don't really run a massive ass server so I have no clue how much effort really is put into it, if you are a veteran player or just a decent/experienced one in general I would love to hear your thoughts about it(well pretty much everybodies thoughts).
If you actually read all this go pat urself on the back and have a cookie (づᗒ ͟ل͜ᗕ)づ

1. I'd like to give it a chance at least.2. Don't have an opinion on this yet.
3. If a mod can't see the difference between a cheater and a skilled person in any ladder and is consistantly false-banning they should just be fired.
4. I'm pretty sure some kind of a achievement system is on the to-do list. Personally I'd only like the achievement system if achievements were extremely hard to get, for example you would need to be top 3 at the end of the season, win a tournament, etc.
5. Yeah, there is a real problem on the practice server, 25% of 1400's are just blatantly cheating and aren't even denying it.
6. I hate this idea because I love a clean chat and it would probably attract more players to the server because the simpler the server is the better. Maybe have it as a toggle on option for those that want to see everyones elo when they talk. Donators already have colours so that would interfere with that.

So basicly you want all the arenapvp moderators fired and replaced with kohi staff? Idk if it's just me that sees it but that's what I think you're sayingPosted on 08 May 2016 - 02:29 PM
In my opinion it should be a requirement to be able to differentiate between a cheater and a good player whether it is speed or not to be a moderator. @JwlesPosted on 08 May 2016 - 06:09 PM

I don't agree with those acheivement suggestions, since you can just grab an alt and easily complete them without anyone knowing.Badlion moderation staff are also trained to find people cheating, especially the senior team. Reducing the people watching for cheaters, you reduce the amount of cheaters banned. If you're talking about false bans, too many leads to demotion and it's not too common for people to even make false bans. Maybe there's a cause for suggesting more training for helping to find cheaters, but the solution isn't to just remove hundreds of moderators from being able to ban.

1. Agreed, I'm not even sure why people still play PotPvP in ArenaPvP, Archy said himself Kohi were better in that area2. Would work if there were mainly UHC ladders in Badlion and the others in Kohi like it is now, you can see kohi.net and this site for bother leaderboards.
3. Mmmm, disagree. Some badlion staff will prefer potpvp to uhcs.
An alternative is having separate staff, say PotPvP staff for the kohi server (not necessarily all kohi mods), and the rest for the arena pvp as usual.
4. I agree, achievements were a large part of me continuing to play games I'd have otherwise got fed up and given up. However don't make the achievements too hard to get, otherwise you would get more people getting frustrated and starting to cheat just for that achievement. Maybe games played achievements, etc?
5. Everyone who has played on badlion in the past 3 days know the amount of cheaters. Archy and the devs will probably work on GCheat checks, and tbh I reckon theyll leave it a couple more weeks and then announce the JD, much hype, much players banned, gg rekt.

Also I would want achievements more of a thing to do like a set of challenges, just make achievements where alting or boosting is near useless.
