Hello Badlion Staffs and members,I would like Badlion to consider a system where it stars (***) inappropriate words, as it is not safe for my child. I believe that there will be a negative impact on my daughter, and that she might start using these words in the house. I appreciate the fact that my daughter enjoys "UHC's" with her friends. However, I do no appreciate how the words are not censored.
I entered her room today and saw this fellow message her this:

I believe that a big, and well known server, like Badlion, should enforce a stricter system. In addition, when I asked her if there were any mods online to report this to, she responded with, "There are no mods on the West Arena." Which was another shock to me.Posted on 08 May 2016 - 01:02 AM

Is this thread actually legit? LolBtw badlion's salty levels (let's define it as people who can't accept to lose) are probably higher than any other server, specially now that the merge has happened so it's obviously very difficult to not get insulted. Sadly, because of this small group of people who act like cunts because of a block game, badlion's community is considered complete and utter sh*t.

Oh my goodness. This is badlion's communty's bad influence on my daughter. She had never ever seen or heard those words in her life. Being a mother, I have confiscated her laptop, and now I have control of this account. I truly apologize for my daughter's inappropriate messages. West is a very small "server" compared to NA East. West averages about 100 at peak at NA East 1 has 1000 at peak. Sometimes even NA 4 has more than west. There are more mods on East then West and if something like this happens, screenshot it and report it.

Hey.We allow minor amounts of vulgarity as long as they are not being used to attack other players on the network according to our current set of rules. This being said the rules in question are 3 years old when we were a very small community.
We can definitely look into some kind of chat filtering system for basic vulgarity words and such. We also have options to turn off global chat and PM's as well.

^ You can manage settings with this command.
You may also /ignore [name] people who are not sending pleasant messages to your daughter.
From my experience most parents are not aware of the things that their children are actually doing on the internet. Most are quite shocked when they get involved.

Finally, I get to see a responsible parent taking action over their child's unfortunate experiences online, rather than just assuming their child's safe on the internet 24/7.As for your chat issues, as stated, there are several different settings allocated to your personal usage in-game to alter your daughter's viewing of the chat to more or less filter out who you don't want your daughter to converse with.
It's important to note that this community is a rather competitive one. And with competitive people soon comes with trash talk over losing/winning against someone. Sadly, people feel the necessary need to vent out their anger in a rather hostile, racist way at times and we as moderators can do nothing more than enforce the rules by warning the offender firstly. If the offense progresses, we simply mute/ban them depending on the severity of the issue.
