Build UHC help?
I suck like crazy. I was wondering if you have any tips for build UHC or my Pvp.
EDIT: I already know how to Pvp like strafes, combos, W-Tap and stuff. I am a god compared to other servers but on badlion I am bad compared to you people.

Wtap and blockhit. I can beat 2k elos with just that and I rarely use the rod.

That's all?

Certainly not!

I'm a 2K, so I think I can help you out a lot.

Compared to other gamemodes, Build UHC involves the greatest variety of skills (imo). You must learn how to melee (which includes w-tap, blockhit, click speed, good aim, etc), bow, rod, lava, etc. One thing that is equally important (maybe even more important imo) is game sense (good judgment). You need to know when to do what, how players react to certain things, and when you should heal, and things like that. I can't really explain game sense to you and how to play smart because that's all based off of playing. That brings me to my #1 rule of getting better at Build: Practice, and practice often.

I also don't really think high cps matters too much in Build; although, it certainly helps a lot. In other gamemodes, you really NEED great cps or you won't really get too far. However, you have access to a rod and bow in Build. If you can get good with both of those, you can pull off some sick combos, even without 10 cps (I only get 6-7 cps).

That's why you're only 1499 Elo atm. Rod is overpowered. If you want to get to a higher Elo, you better rod.

Usually when I rod, I miss then I suffer some unnecessary hearts. Plus the rod doesn't do much when somebody is close by.

I'm assuming that you're trying to prove that the rod isn't as useful as I'm trying to say it is. And you're right, in a way. The rod is only overpowered when in the hands of an experienced player. You just said that you usually miss the rod. That's why it's not doing much for you. Try fighting someone who runs straight and rod the crap out of them. $10 says they won't even get you down to 7.5 hearts (assuming you start at 10 + 2 hearts of absorption).

Additionally, you said the rod doesn't do much to players at close range. That's very true, but who says you have to let them get that close? Just rod them before they get that close. The only times when the rod isn't too useful, even in the hands of an expert, is when someone straight up rushes you and doesn't let you get far enough for the rod to have an effect and when someone camps in a place where you can only face them at close range. There are probably some other situations, but these are the only ones I can think of.

Huh. Is 6 CPS a good CPS. That's about my regular non jitter click. I just CAN'T jitterclick. Either i can and not aim or I get a jitter every few seconds. And that's when I'm barely aiming. I can't grip the mouse so I sorta have to use my palm of my jitter int fingers to do the moving.

You might not want to listen to me because im the same elo as but practice to keep your crosshair(the plus sign in the middle of your acreen) on your opponent. Trust me, I used to be 1100 and doing only this and not trying to rod and failing got me to 1400.
