What do you think can be done to make Oceania better? Not make us get updates 2 weeks after NA / EU - We might have less players but its not our fault we cant play NA so if we can play the whole server… I understand some things dot have a rush because not every game will even fill but stillalso, Although I live near the server and get 10 ms, i have friends on the other side of australia that get really bad ping, if you move the host towards the middle, New Zealand ping will get a bit worse but the other side of Australia could get better connection.. Just a thought idk

Hey Gberry.I believe some good ideas for badlion Au to improve would be
1. Merge the kohi practice and arena pvp servers. Idk if this is possible but hopefully s13 will bring it
2. Staff, staff, staff. We need some more staff that actually do something. Au has a few staff but they are rarely online and when they are they are very bias. (dont know how to spell bias lol). Please hire more Au staff. One more idea for staff. Maybe make a rewarding system for staff on Eu, Na and naw if they go out of there way to help the Au community because atm there are is only 1-2 good staff on badlion arena, FearlessSlays and Rxwrr. The toxicity on Au needs to be cracked down on Asap. Also a good idea i think would be a staff that is only a (chat mod) so you can apply for this position and you get all the permissions to do what the uhc hosts can do on arena servers with muting etc.. This would cut down on the toxicity on Au and also all the other proxies with more people applying for this and making the community less toxic by muting more people with more mods dedicated to chat.
Just a few ideas of mine.
Ty for taking the time and effort and money for making the only Au competitive server, we all appreciate everything you do for our community.

Hello fellow AU players, GBerry etc.I am not a big/famous player in the AU community, but I reckon I have a good shot at spreading this around.
I am going to answer on what I am pretty sure AU wants.
1. I'm not too sure of how to make AU better, but I think as one of the best (imo) Badlion regions, I say we should be entitled and promised (We can't be promised all uhcs, I understand lag issues) more UHCs, more tourneys, more Kohi gamemodes (Kohi SG, factions/hcf and Practice ((I read the forum and replied)) ) and I can't STAND the DUEL ME BUILDUHC spam, so for gods sake, implement Unranked BuildUHC??
2. Increasing the player count isn't and can't be easy. The only solution I had was to merge with minecorner/auteams, but I think that would be a big change with the purpose of Badlion (not Faction, Kohi based) and we should just let them be
3. Like I said in the question above, since AU MCSG has shut down (not known if for good or not yet) so MCSG is gone, Minecorner/AUteams is a good competition, UHC Zone (not sure about it) and also Hypixel which is a worldwide server, not AU
Edit: ReloadMC is a new kind of MCSG - BuildUHC ffa server that is made up of some of the AU MCSG players such as UniqueArtz, xShaunx, Zepium, 5OCal and Silentpixlz
4. New rank, not sure what this should be called, but have it around $70 AUD, in the middle of D+ and Lion. This rank should have most of the D+ perks but not many of the perks, cosmetics and pets as Lion. 6. Put cosmetics into AU is all I could think of. If you can, lower the prices about $5 or so on all ranks, I'm only saying this because I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for most of AU, Not all of us can afford to buy a top notch video game rank for $100.

Guys I know I'm not from AU but I might play there if the internet connection becomes better. I play in NA right now, but that's only because my ping to NA is only a bit better than AU. If it becomes better, my ping to it will probably be better to AU, which means I'll play there. I live in Hong Kong right now, which gives me about 260ms ping to NA, 300ms ping to AU, and about 340ms ping to EU. My timezone is also closer to AU, which means if the networking becomes better I'll play there.Posted on 10 May 2016 - 04:54 AM
What do you think can be done to make Oceania better?An unofficial event was held every friday on Kohi AU.
The event was playing, many players never logged in any day of the week exept friday night and it was a way to meet new rivals and play ranked.
If this was made public and every friday a proper hype was pushed towards both arena and kohi then the server would fill up once a week and allow elo to flow again in all kits.
I was never good enough to play ranked on Kohi (L L L L L) so I hosted and played Red Rover all the time on fridays and it was a blast, if Badlion could give players or donors the ability to host a proper Red Rover like the Kohi system (Party system) or another plugin similar then I think this would boost popularity because many players just want to feel included in the gang, even if they get dicked on as soon as their called.
My final idea is to have global chat between all AU servers, AU arena, AU practice, AU hub and others… This will never work on other regions but because of the seperated nature of the comunity I think that chat should be global just to keep the chat moving and activity high on the server.
Examples of channels this would give to players
"Join Unranked Axe kohi"
"Join UHC BL"
Smaller kits like this could possibly get more love if people knew others wanted to play them, sometimes ill leave the no debuff queue to play Axe, cubecore and others with people if they ask and allowing more people to see those messages would increase players being able to play whatever kits they like.

It's amazing that you guys actually thought about AU for once, that usually doesn't happen haha (*cough* MCSG *cough)You have little/no competition in AU, so the only reasons for a small playerbase which I can think of are 1) people quit after AU mcsg was taken down/just don't play anymore and 2) some people have no idea that AU badlion even exists. As for how to spread the word, idk… MCSG gained a lot of its new players (imo) by youtubers and such. There's such a small amount of AU yters as the community itself is small.
As for what could be done to improve the server, I agree with what most other people have had to say:
Get more staff. While the staff are mostly really good, there just aren't enough of them.
Add new gamemodes and polish up some of the existing ones too. It's really cool to see that mini uhcs are coming and I can't wait to play them. But things like ffa (I know this applies to other regions too, but I feel it'd be more important in such a competitive community like AU) could do with some patching up without a doubt. I'm surprised we don't have a SG kit ffa yet. I mean, let's be honest; the sg ffa is just about who can get full iron/dia sword first. Sure it can be fun at times but I really feel like a ffa where I can practice rod/fns on multiple people at once would be great for sg skills. Basically battlegrounds.
I don't mind the ping, but that's because I live in Sydney haha.

At the moment it is very good imo but having the two au servers it sort of splitting us in half but it doesn't matter anyway when S13 comes we will hopefully all be one. Maybe when we combine as one you can start addding kohi games etc… maybe even AUFactions one day.What can we do to increase the number of players in Oceania further than we already have? Like i said it is fine for now but the sooner S13 comes the better for the community.
What is the existing competition for Oceania Minecraft servers? How can we help bring more of those players to Badlion? I really dont think that there is alot of other Oceania servers i *think* that this is the biggest player base for the Oceania community like i said it is all about being one like until S13 i suggest staying like it is until S13 is out and become a big number instead of 2 groups
For such a small player population what do you think we could do to increase the number of purchases in the Oceania region to offer better support to Oceania? More competition (players) more game modes and i hope that there is Country leader boards when it is S13 this will generate abit more competition
Adding a RR plugin to kohi au would be great, i know i used to try host rr's when i was senior mod on kohi but every now and again it gets ruined by a couple of players and ruins it for everyone else

Known to be toxic? Rude.Anyway, maybe keep your au servers up atleast 50% of the time, have dedicated Au mods, make it so we can join na/eu arena servers from the au proxy.
There is barely any competition in Au, we really just don't care (this is me and almost every au i have ever met on minecraft).
You can't exactly increase the donations besides adding Australia based cosmetics or something like that.
For factions have oceanic friendly koth's, we never have a chance unless we stay up to like 3am.
I put almost no effort into this as i really don't think it will be taken seriously as you have a extremely small Au player base and not much you can do with it.

HOW TO MAKE THE OCEANIA SERVER BETTER?: There is basiclly there is no mods for 70-90 percent of the time, I would gladly take a spot for being a mod to help the toxicity on the AU server, for example almost every time I win someone in Build UHC, either they say I have bad ping which is wrong (I get around 50-30 ping), or they just swear at me cuz I beat them, and they wont get muted. Just look at my profile. 5-8 mutes because I swear at someone just like 2 times. And I made a thread about a few mutes I get:
: Make a new rank OR lower the prices for AU player, Build UHC is the Best kit badlion has ever created and thats great and everything the highest we ever got AU is 300 player arount 5% of the community, what I mean by this if there is more ranks to get there is a higher chance of players being on more then they did. If they add a new rank it should be around 35$ for 30 days and for lifetime 50.
: Put up more UHC's out there, im just speech less just look at NA and EU with the UHC's they are killing it. The AU UHC pop out rarely and when there is i try to schedule my time to find it in. But when you play on NA/EU there is so many UHC that they dont care if they miss it because one is starting right now.
So these are the things I want the AU servers to have on there.

A reason the AU player base is dropping is due to the large decrease in UHC's hosted per day. I believe, along with I'm sure every other avid uhc player that the old schedule was perfect, e.g 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30 games. I really don't understand the new one, as it literally means less au players can play uhcs after school and therefore fills are dropping. I can see the issue with games carrying over after the next one starts, but this is really not much of a problem as most AU games start late anyway, and hardly any games go longer than an hour and 50 mins.So yeah…I really would like to see the old UHC schedule re-implemented, and I'm sure many others would too.
