Lava/water glitch in Build - Thoughts on how to fix

It's a Vanilla Minecraft glitch. You'll right-click your lava and it won't pick itself up. So, since it's Vanilla, and that has no plugins, I was thinking: would it be possible to code a plugin that, whenever you'd right-click your lava/water it would pick itself back up instantly? If you got all the Jr Devs on it, as one big project (or maybe just one as their project), maybe there could be a few lines of code regarding the packets being sent to the server by the player's Minecraft client. They could get in there from Badlion's side, and whenever a packet would be sent that would mean the player picking up a lava block or a water block, if it glitched, within a second the bucket would instantly be replaced and Block 36 (invisible block) would appear on the source for any amount of time under .5 seconds. This was kinda done with the rods taking damage whenever they'd land; the rod would take durability damage whenever it would land on the other player. If you could do the same thing, take the regular bucket and quickly replace the bucket with whatever the player was trying to pick up, this could make our lives a lot easier. I won't tag Archy or Gberry, but Smelly seems acceptable in this situation. @SmellyPenguin thoughts on this idea?EDIT: Why not do this in general, if it works? It would make things a lot smoother, just like it did with rods.
666th post btw ;D

I think this would be amazing… I can't even tell you how many times someone has been able to land extra hits on me just because I'm trying to pick up my lava or water -_-Posted on 12 May 2016 - 07:57 AM
I'll try something like this once SG 2.0 is outPosted on 12 May 2016 - 08:01 AM
There's something in Minecraft that makes you reach further with using a bucket than anything else in the game. Minecraft has like its own formula and calculations on where to place/pick up with buckets, to my knowledge. It's infinitely odd. If that helps @SmellyPenguinPosted on 12 May 2016 - 04:47 PM

Hmm, maybe if someone reached for their lava from a bit too far it could do my idea. As for SG 2.0, I'm hyped, but that could be months away because of the merge.
