Obviously global Elo is a prestigious thing, but it is only applicable to donators. The result, especially since build uhc is so popular even among donors, is that global Elo grinders suffer from a lack of people in ladders other than build uhc. My solution to make non-donors happy, global grinders happy, and maybe even server staff happy is to have a rotating separate and cycling dedicated increased ranked match allocation for a specific ladder (or rotating unlimited in a ladder but prob not since badlion would "lose too much money"). This way, people still buy ranks to always have unlimited build uhc, but non-donators are happy with always having a way to grind Elo (in this case, global Elo) whether build uhc or not.Of course this may not be relevant in S13 as I don't know what sort of changes will be effected to the whole arena pvp structure.
PRACTICAL APPLICATION SUGGESTION
Everyday = standard matches/voting that can be used for any ladder
Specific = Day 1: 20-unlimited matches specifically for diamond
Day 2: 20-unlimited matches specifically for vanilla
.
.
.
Etc..

I clicked on this because I thought it would be something about getting ranks for having high global elo .-.Posted on 11 May 2016 - 05:27 PM

I made a very good suggestion for that with numerous +1's but to no avail :(
