Hello all UHC players and PvPers in general!
My name is PixelMangos and I'm a UHC host for those who don't know :)

This is mainly for EU people because I don't really host AU and NA so I can't really tell how games go over there… (people say it's better lol)

I want to say before I start that I encourage you to read all the way to the end, It will make things A LOT more clear for you on the UHC Staff side of things.
Also I want all of you with questions, complains etc' to reply to this! I will answer EVERY SINGLE QUESTION .
So let's start

Here is what I'm going to be talking about:
-Gamemodes
-Mutes
-UHC Hosts
-Bans
-Respawns
-And a few other things in genaral.


First of all, all of you reading this need to remember: hosting is 100% for fun/helping out the community we don't get any money for it. All hosts are VOLUNTEERS.

I encourage all of you to share this with all your friends who are not on the forums usually, so we can make the playing/hosting process easier for both the hosts and players.


Mutes:

Hackusation: Hackusation mutes are not just if you say: "he is hacking host!!" it's also if you "hint" that someone is hacking: "HOST HE DUG STRAIGHT TO ME WHEN I WAS SHIFTED!!"
"WTF HOST HE HAS A 8 BLOCK REACH!!!!??". So you will be muted for anything that may make the players/specs think that someone is cheating.
Also, Team accusations aren't mutable but (even though they should be). /helpop is there for a reason. USE IT! Just making everyone think that people are teaming/trucing
is just toxic and is actually wrong 90% of the time (probably more lol)
Disrespect: Any form of disrespect towards a player/staff member is PROHIBITED and will result in a mute, unless it's minor like: "stfu" "fuck off". This isn't mineplex after all…

This is mainly what I wanted to talk about on this subjet…

Gamemodes:

Gamemodes, we all love gamemodes right? or not?! You'll be surprised but some players actually want Vanilla games. "NO WAY" Yes way.
Not everyone wants CC TB Every single game… And you'll also be surprised but we also do it for you! If every game was CC TB it would of gotten boring very quickly, so we try to keep a good verity of gamemodes.
Also, Even if we wanted to give you CutClean TimeBomb every game we can't because we need to get permissions for every single gamemode (that is not a config)
About configs: Configs like, Absoprtionless , Golden heads don't stack , Strength1 (not 2) etc'. (we don't need perms for those)

#CC , #CutClean , #TimeBomb , #TB , "WHY SOUP" , "NO SOUP" , "PLEASE NO ABSORPTIONLESS" "MAKE GOLDEN HEADS STACK PLEASE!!!" "TAKE STRENGTH OFF!!!" "PLEASE NO VANILLA"
I am honestly wondering, Has this ever worked out for you?! lol just kidding I know it hasn't. I'm going to say this:
WE CANNOT ADD/REMOVE GAMEMODES AFTER THE GAME HAS BEEN OPEN, EVEN IF WE WANTED TO! 99% of the time we don't.
This ^ IS POINTLESS, That's right POINTLESS has never worked and will never work! The ONLY thing it does is pissing us (the hosts) off.
So you might be wondering: "you can chose to get or not to get gamemodes like, Absorptionless and Strength so why would you give us them , NO ONE LIKES THEM"
Yet another surprise for you, People do enjoy those gamemodes just because you don't doesn't mean other people don't. and also because it will get boring very quick as written above… going to say it again: STOP ASKING FOR GAMEMODES TO BE REMOVED/ADDED

Bans:


I just love these: "OMG HACKER BAN HIM" "HE IS F*CKING HACKING BAN HIM" "SHIT HOST WHY DON'T YOU BAN?!" "F*CKING XRAYER!! BAN HIM!!"
Do you really think we can just ban someone because you said so? honestly I can just say hacker ban him (gets banned) (getting respawned) so all of these^ are POINTLESS once more.
We need evidence for EVERY SINGLE PERSON we ban. Sometimes it's not 1 piece of evidence, sometimes it's 2 or 3 (depends on what he is being accused for).
So we cannot just ban someone because you said so. I'm not even gonna start talking about how 80% of these are false… (not that if you report someone falsely it's wrong)
You should report anyone that you think isn't playing legit.)

We also accept 1st person evidence! (we need permissions from a senior & above to ban, but if it's sufficient it will probably be accepted!)
This means if you record your gameplay you can upload to YouTube & send to us! and hopefully we can get the so called "cheater" banned :)

Respawns:


This is my favorite one lol.

"HOST RESPAWN HE HACKED!" "OMG HE HACKED RESPAWN ME" "IPVP RESPAWN NOW!" "SHIT HOST RESPAWN ME"

We can only respawn you if you got killed by a cheater that got BANNED <—- see that in capital bold letters? I'll say it again for the sake of it BANNED
So how about ask for a respawn after he got banned… Cause that's the only way you're going to get one… For all you respawns wanting people, you should read the Bans section up there ^

Now the few other things I was talking about:

1. Helpop - You will not believe how many people helpop at the start of the game "Excessive stalking" or "IPvP!" or "Spec me!"
Most games have 1 or 2 hosts/mods that can spec , SOMETIMES 3 but that's really rare… We cannot spec 20 people at the same time, IT ISN'T POSSIBLE, So we try our best to give make everyone stop. But saying "Shit host!" "YOU ARE GETTING DEMOTED" "Pfff bad host" Is one the most disgusting things you can say. We do this for free and you can be a little more great-full and thankful.

2. Let's talk about that^ "ENJOY DEMOTE!" "GET DEMOTED SHIT HOST!" "RIP YOU HOST RANK!" "WOW YOU ARE SO SHIT ENJOY YOU DEMOTE!"
I don't understand how that's not mutable, but it's not so… Just because someone didn't respawn you or Didn't ban that hacker does not mean they are not good at what they are doing. even if they did something wrong you don't have to be so rude and ungreat-full going around like you're so tough and can get people demoted lol. I've been here for almost 2 months now and haven't heard about 1 person getting demoted. And people get reported all the time. "ALL THE TIME .
If a host/mod/trainee did something wrong they have a manager that his job is to talk to them not yours.

3.WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS:
-WE HAVE FEELINGS TOO, so think twice before you say what you say, because most of us are honestly doing this because they love it, and after all we do it for YOU.
-WE MAKE MISTAKES TOO, We are not robots! we make mistakes and always try to fix them!
-We are some really nice people! when I joined the UHC staff team I met some of the most nice people I met in my life xD. I personally am on ts A LOT, Come and chill! I'm not a god [debatable] just ask for the password! Unless I'm hosting and your playing my game then I can't talk to you lol xD we are all very nice! Talk to us I always ask my players "How are you" and Sometimes people reply "Good how about you? Thanks for playing!" That's always nice xD

No-one is gonna read this because it is way too long and is largely just bitching about players bitching.

Also, in the past I've seen plenty of games get CC when it's been spammed

If you die to someone that iPvP'd you and you send the host video proof and they get banned, is that respawn worthy or not?

What if you get killed by a hacker as soon as pvp turns on right after the 20 minute mark but the hacker doesn't get banned until around the hour mark. Will you be able to respawn even thought it has been 40 mins?

Good post! But u should understand us.
Sometimes u host 2 games both over 600 player its lagging like shit and in every game are 5 mods just to spec. Why do u not host a 3 game? Hackusating is to hard. A hacker killed me 5 mins later a other guy got kille

A hacker killed me i said nothing than he killed a other guy he wrote like "omfg he is hacking" got not muted. I wrote "ye this kid is hacking" got muted for one week gg. Some mods don't help looks like they just want a rank.
