I'm not a huge UHC player; I've only played a couple and I stick to MiniUHC.However, good post. All staff deal with player issues, whether "this is mineplex" or not. (I'm a staff member on Mineplex.)
I'm sure it's accurate as to what hosts deal with, I've personally never been one but it seems accurate.

You have to take into account that some hosts don't have the time EVERY day although some hosts do but they already pull their weight.

So me and my teammate died in the game that started 3 hrs ago, the to2 vanilla + Timebomb. As it was not cc there were no really good players and we were in the last 100, then badlion mainframe crashed right as the border shrunk and we got dced. I couldn't get back on but my teammate did and somehow managed to kill a to2 on his own (he was full diamond against both 3/4s) and then I changed proxy and managed to log back on. Right as I logged on the Timebomb exploded and I died. Now I know this wasn't to a cheater but it happened because badlion crashed and the mainframe went down. So I was kinda annoyed but o well and my teammate looted my chest and left. When he was further on suddenly from 10 hearts he died instantly from lightning (smite) along with about 30 other players at the same time. There was no Timebomb explosion and even if there was he would not have died. Neither of us recorded it but if we had could we have gotten a respawn because I am almost certain that if this had happened to a Youtuber/Twitch Streamer they would have gotten a respawn. Also we both didn't know how to ask for one as we don't have ranks and we couldn't msg the host. We then went on to Badlion ts but couldn't find anywhere. I am not asking for a respawn now (obviously) but asking that if something similar had happened could we get a respawn without a recording and who we should ask for it.Thanks

Even though badlion crashed you would still not get respawned.
Only if you died to a hacker that was banned or if you died to an IPvPer that got banned.
