So basically im here today to basically talk about anti xray.First off i think the developers of the plugin did an amazing job on the stopping people xray side of things, however people clearly can still use cave finder as they are still getting banned for it. However im not sure how many people can play UHC's now because of it. It drains FPS.. I have a 1k PC getting around 600 fps in a Vanilla Minecraft world nice and smooth FPS no problems, however as soon as i go into a UHC, i drop to around 200 fps which is choppy and hard to play with.
My main point is, that people are still getting banned for xray and cavefinder, so why not just remove it? Im sure the majority of the community would rather have fun and enjoy playing the game with enjoyable FPS, rather than stopping people mine a few extra diamonds, and it be unplayable for some people. As a streamer myself and i know because I have talked to Danteh about this, Anti Xray in my opinion needs to either be removed or just changed so that it doesnt drain 200 FPS off a PC's frames. Badlion said they would be "developing" anti xray and changing it so that it doesnt change FPS, yet im still waiting for that day to come after almost 2 months after it was said.

They dont need to remove it, they just need to fix Frames.. Im getting like 240 FPS in Arena with recording but in UHC i cant even get 100 fps w/o recording…Last edited on 12 May 2016 - 07:49 AM by Omm

+1, on EU you still go to border to see full diamond teams every game. In arena I get 100 fps in uhc I get 20-50, it's literally unplayable 50% of the time. Since I play on a laptop UHC's are barely enjoyable anymore, it's as much about having a good PC as it is about having skill..Posted on 12 May 2016 - 07:51 AM
I tried suggesting that they lower the amount of ores to reduce lag(as sometimes my chunks don't load and I see diamond ore on y 70 which is soooo overkill) on this thread… https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/100289Good idea though, I would love to have my 1000 dollar PC perform like a 1000 dollar PC in uhc

They really just need to remove it, id rather fight full diamonds then play with bad fps. I use to get 700-1000 fps before antixray in UHC now my fps is like 200-400 which isn't bad but i can imagine how it is for others who have bad pc'sPosted on 12 May 2016 - 08:37 AM

Let's be real here.Removing Anti XRay will make the hosts ban more of the Rayers, however will technically make it fair, so many people ray instead of a select few who rarely get caught because it's likely for hosts to spec. It will also remove a lot of FPS lag.
Keeping Anti XRay will only allow a few Rayers to do so, however will rarely get caught, which isn't really fair on a lot of the rest of the community, and will keep the lag.
Overall it's clear to most players the XRayers in the community who the Rayers and which players constantly do so without being banned :/
Key Point:
But at this point in time I don't think it's right to remove it, just fix the FPS Lag it causes, which probably will be hard to do so due to genning 2 times the blocks into the map, so maybe an idea such as:
If Anti XRay is only active below Y=32 it will reduce lag. There is also no ores such as Gold/Diamonds which need to be concealed.

+1, however I don't think it should be removed. Just a way to not make the FPS drop massively, I recently upgraded my pc, get 400+ in arena while recording, but in a UHC i'd get 100-150, which feels extremely choppy.Posted on 12 May 2016 - 10:47 AM
