I'm a kohi player and i have been playing kohi for along time now, like this is where i started to get better as a PVPER. But over time the kb has gotten worse and worse to the point where arena PVP and kohi have the exact same kb and im telling you right now nobody plays arena pvp because how laggy and how bad the kb is. Honestly this kb is some ass everyone takes 0kb even including the laggy people and there so annoying to fight since they skip alot with 0kb. With this kb is very uncommon to combo someone since its just hit for hit the whole fight, anyone can become "good" since yourself and everyone else around you takes 0kb. Im not even going to begin with the pot lag omg its worse then its ever been. I think you should increase the kb so combos are more common instead of just holding w. I was even jumping the whole fight and me and him took okb and just went hit for hit kinda broken dont you think? I think increasing the kb will also make it easier to detect ghosters also because rn everyone takes 0kb and i MEAN EVERYONE, whats the point of even putting kb mod on right? all you need is trigger or smooth aim which makes it harder to detect. WIth this kb its 0 skill and i think most kohi players will understand what im saying.Video:

pretty sure the admins are aware of this… why do people keep making posts about it.Posted on 16 May 2016 - 11:05 PM

Lol badlion has been laggy for over a year now with the same kb that chased almost every known pvper away. Dont think they really give a shit, there more focused on money.

Badlion has grown extremely fast over the past year…
This just goes back to one of my posts on a thread about knockback a long time ago:
2 years ago it was "nice relog", last year it was ping, this year it's knockback -
A majority of this is in your head. I guarantee you if you just stop thinking about the knockback, you won't notice anything. You can pvp perfectly fine with this knockback or with a different kind. Your brain simply cannot comprehend that the reason you will lose fights is because the user who wins could be better than you, but rather your brain thinks, "it must be the shitty knockback" But in reality, it's not. You're looking way too into it. Knockback isnt going to make or break you, even if it's ever changed.

As much as I agree with the former part of your post, I don't agree with this at all.
I played on the server, recorded several clips of me fighting randoms, and compared it side by side to me fighting well known people (drummerreviews, cants0ar, stimpay, etc.) before the merge. In every clip, kb was inconsistent, choppy, and overall VERY different. If you don't believe me, I can upload some clips with some type of side by side effect so you can see the difference.
Trust me, I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to knockback in pvp - I was 1900 last season and yet can't get past 1500 on the new kohi. The weird part about it, though, is as soon as I do a fight on a private server - or even hcteam's kit map - there is a noticeable difference and I do just as well as I did before the merge.
Some of the many reasons why a LOT of kohi players are unhappy with this merge are because it
A. Ruined the KB (Poll the kohi community and see how many of them say so. I would laugh.)
B. Completely overhauled the command system (/tpm, /tgc, /sounds, etc. Made it unfamiliar and overall is a nuisance)
C. Disallowed butterfly clicking (even if it was bannable on kohi, less than 3 or 4 people ever got banned for it, and you would never get autobanned)
D. Was more of a takeover than a merge - prplz is a fucking dev, not even admin of his own server.
E. Honestly, the way kohi did chat before was so much better. Instead of an automute, they filtered certain phrases to the community while making it seem like the player who sent it had succeeded in spreading his toxicity. This allowed for a much smoother chat (no red "example has been muted for unsportsmanlike conduct for a period of 15 minutes" every 5 seconds) and overall made it much easier on the community. Badlion's system is "SUBMIT TO OUR CHAT RULES" wereas Kohi's was much more subtle and more effective. Ever since the merge, kohi has gotten even more toxic - I assume as a result of these reasons stated.
F. Did away with screensharing. I personally supported screensharing on kohi - it was a way of catching cheaters who couldn't be detected serverside. I (and along with most of the kohi community) feel like Badlion is way too reliant on GCheat, and therefore a lot of detected hackers are allowed to roam free without getting banned. Again, maybe they're detected and going to get banned on judgement days, but most kohi players would rather see results than a ban wave a couple weeks later. I should restate - I'm not saying that Badlion should start screensharing (because I know it would be a hopeless argument), but rather that there should be staff who are able to ban off of logs and spectating.
Oh and less of a main point, but broadcasting mutes and gcheat bans like they are currently is incredibly obtrusive and should at the very least have a method of toggling.

I haven't played much kohi practice since the merge to be honest but I think rather than the KB being borked the server is just kinda choppy all overPosted on 17 May 2016 - 12:44 PM

thank you for saving me time and making this I was going to make the exact same post lol. KB is fucked but the admins think we're just making shit up to complain. It gets annoying.

Looks to me that prplz is admin and dev so?
Badlion doesn't rely on GCheat although everyone says we do. Yes GCheat is good but why do you think staff are here? To JUST moderate chat? No.
Looks like to me that MasterGberry, Archy, Smelly and all the developers know about KB.
We don't witch hunt.
The punishment messages are there so people know the consequences of what can happen if you don't follow the rules.

A. KbB. Well obviously when the servers merge, the commands are going to be different than the ones the kohi users have been used to, you can't help this
C. Butterfly clicking is an unfair advantage
D. prplz is an admin
E.

F. Screensharing is a violation of privacy, Staff do ban off of spectating, that's the reason they are staff

Explain KB please and also for C. I would probably say Butterfly clicking CAN be an unfair advantage since most of the time it glitches and double clicks which is why it's not allowed, but some mice don't double click so it cannot be detected.

I don't want to get into any of the debates above but I'm just going to say I have the same experience with the KB on Arena. I always knew the Kohi KB wasn't very good but this weekend the KB on Arena gradually went really bad. It's pretty much trading hits and it's impossible to combo without careful S-tapping.Posted on 17 May 2016 - 04:01 PM

Screen sharing wouldn't even have to be done if it wasn't for little kids trying to use high class ghost clients to become the #1 pvper on Legos. 3rd person view isn't enough to ban, sure it is if they're blatantly using killaura but if you're fighting someone who actually knows how to be low key with their client then 3rd person POV means nothing. One way to fix this would be to use client side anticheats, but that wouldn't work either and I'd rather not explain why it wouldn't on here. A staff can PM me if they want to know but I'm not gonna post it here.

Still, being demoted from owner to admin of your own server qualifies as a demotion to me.
I rarely to never see staff ban off of spectating unless they're blatantly hacking - which that point wasn't about.
Uh, your point about kb doesn't make any sense.
Witch hunting is non applicant here.
And that system doesn't work - at least not on kohi. Why do you think the playerbase preferred kohi to badlion in the first place? Lots of reasons, but one big one was because kohi wasn't so anal about chat.

A. ok
B. Fair point, although like I said - it's just a nuisance.
C. If you say so
D. Owner -> admin is pretty significant imo - but you're right, I was wrong.
E. Then explain why kohi chat is even more toxic now than before - it's because while there were the same messages on kohi before, nobody saw them since they were filtered.
F. Staff aren't supposed to ban unless they're 100% sure (from the words of archy himself), and it could be very hard to tell if somebody is cheating from the 3rd person even if they're using a regular, non-hidden client.
