I don't understand why all of a sudden block hitting is like the equivalent to bow spammingIts like everyone used to do it and now you get shunned for doing it
maybe i missed something? idk someone please explain why i get yelled at for doing it now

They're just immature and mad. Don't let things people say on the Internet get to you.Posted on 19 May 2016 - 09:17 AM
I blockhit sometimes. If people shun you for it, well… ^Posted on 19 May 2016 - 09:22 AM

It's definitely very annoying and maddening when people do it right, which is also the reason why bowspamming is hated so much. If you have the timings for blockhitting down perfectly, you can win every exchange, every time.

Its a more overpowered version of w-tapping. I don't like it myself but I just stay quiet about it.Last edited on 19 May 2016 - 10:55 AM by Badware

W tapping is very slightly more effective. Block hitting slows you down and allows for an easier hit to hit exchange while W tapping allows for more strafe and evasion. They're literally doing the same thing, though - which is just breaking your sprint. I managed 1900 elo on old kohi blockhitting, but at that skill level most people W tap. What a lot of people don't understand is that blockhitting doesn't really help you as much as you think it does - go try to spam left and right against a really good player and see what happens.

Personally I w-tap and time my blockhits, it seems to work for me on everyone in pretty much any ladder besides Build, which I'm complete shit in (1800 atm).Ohh and when people message me "OMG BOW SPAMMER NOOB!!!!" I just reply with "SWORD SPAMMER!!!" and then type /ignorelist add <name> :P

I used to spam blockhit all the time in s9 because my aim was horrible and I didn't even know what w-tapping was back then lol
Nowadays I feel that blockhitting just messes up my aim even more and I don't do it at all anymore, it just feels a lot easier to strafe without having the slowing effect of blockhitting

I get why people think blockhitting is annoying, it's just frustrating if you're exchanging equal hits but the other guy takes half the damage you do. I'm fine with blockhitting but when people literally do it every time you hit them it gets stupidly annoying, especially in DiamondPosted on 19 May 2016 - 05:50 PM
