Hello, I am here to say I have trouble using hotkeys. My fingers are just too small to reach 1 and 2 while holding w. It has been said in the past to maybe set it to different keys, but I don't know good keys to use! My zoom is on f , f5 is on r and my sprint is on c. If you have any good keys to use, let me know. thanks :D

Same. My fingers are short and cant reach the numbers. Here is my hotkey setup, try it if you want. It works for me.

I use R for my first slot
Middle button for my second
F for my third
E for my fourth
G for inventory
C for my fifth slot
X for my sixth
4 for my zoom
5 for my seventh slot
The last two I scroll, but I have my eigth slot set to 2.

R for Inventory
1 for first slot
2 for second
3 for third
4 for fourth
E for fifth
V for sixth
G for seventh
X for eight
Scroll for ninth
Z for zoom
CTRL to drop

You probably have a desktop, the space between the numbers and the main keyboard is so large :/ One reason why I prefer laptops to desktops. I have long fingers anyhow, but heres my setup:

Hotbar slots 1-8 are all the default numbers, i can reach them all
Slot 9 is V, recommend this slot a lot, easy to reach, everyone uses it basically. If you can't reach V you should change something to C and use something else for toggle sprint
E for toggle perspective
R for toggle sprint
P for drop
I for inventory
(last 2 are so far away from the other buttons because i hate accidentally opening up your inventory while fighting or dropping your sword lol)
