I honestly feel like separate regions would bring out the skill in people. tournaments are a good example because you can simply show your skills on your region and with the best ping. One question I have though is lets say you want to play horse ladder and no NA players do, would it move you to face an EU player after?Posted on 24 May 2016 - 04:58 PM

They should have separate ladders per region. Then you should have a separate ladder that averages your elo on all of the regions. An example would be you have 1800 elo on na,au, and eu then you would have 1800 elo on the ladder i was talking about in the second sentence.Posted on 24 May 2016 - 06:00 PM
I think you should have different regions. Season 13 is all about new change so if there's any time to introduce it then let it be now. If people don't like it then you can always change it back in the next seasonPosted on 24 May 2016 - 06:57 PM
Separating regions could cause there to be toxicity on badlion to be honest. " lool your region sucks ass" idkPosted on 24 May 2016 - 07:08 PM

People will talk shit about anything they can pick at. That shouldn't be a deciding factor.

+1 for SA server. We south america players get horrible connection to badlion. Also, we have totally different ways of playing. If na players conplaint against lag, imagine with 250ms. There are lots of SA players, so i dont think its a bad idea.Posted on 24 May 2016 - 07:41 PM
yes this is a great idea. I've wanted this for so longLast edited on 24 May 2016 - 07:46 PM by MadeInBarbados
How would you know were the player is from by what server they log onto, either way I like them to be separated cause gives people a chance from EU to get #1 and me #5000 ;DIsn't AU too small maybe they should be joined with EU until AU gets bigger

My opinion is a bit differentI underatand the problem with different elos and inflation in different regions etc
I see what you mean but if we are trying to be competitive then i would reccomend one merged ladder
i just feel theres not a big reason to divide the community further

That, in my opinion outweighs all the cons so(can only think of one con lol) I think the leaderboards should be split.
The only con that I can think of is that there would no longer be a "worlds best player" in a ladder although there never really was any "worlds best player", it only looked like it(You know what I mean right?).
Edit: I think you meant to type some instead of come..

TBH I think the ladder system is really good and nothing should be changed in it, it makes the server more competitive and fun at the same time, thanks for keeping the server updated.Last edited on 24 May 2016 - 09:24 PM by YarBaggins
I think this is a great idea, but first of all, you should make it like this-If you log onto na servers, it should show your elo on that server, if you go onto eu, you dont get your na elo, and you start at 1400, but you already said this by asking
-Make sure you add the kohi elo system with this for 1700's don't be paired up with 21-22k elo people.
-Also i would also like if AU joined EU until it gettings bigger
-I think this is a great idea because it will make most eu players play on eu and most na players go onto na servers.
-With the seperate elo's, you should make a overall elo, like if your 1700 on NA, 2000 on EU, and 1700 on AU, you should get around 1800 Global.
If you make all those changes, i think badlion would be way better in general, it will encourage competitive PVP (like you want it to be) maybe a little less toxic, and i love your idea's for SA Servers, that would be great for South American players, overall….
You must add this to your server!
**Edit**
I think if you do this, you should make tournaments based on this, like you mentioned in the thread, have AU, EU and NA tournaments seperate for people can't abuse their ping to win them, like if a eu player is playing an NA game, and the na player destroys them because of their ping, i don't think that is fair, other than that, great idea

Edit: Like the way 1.7 and 1.9 are seperated, have regions and global.
