Enchanted Items Lag - Help!
Hey, i have been looking for a solution since ages but i have no idea what to do now, i really hope someone here can help me out.

My fps drops whenever i hold enchanted items. The real problem comes with bows, it drops from 80 to 30 frames when i pull an enchanted bow, making ladders like archer or advanced uhc unplayable for me.

I don't get this weird fps drops when i play on 1.7.2 or in 1.8+ tho, it only happens when i'm on 1.7.10.
I obviously prefer 1.7 for pvp, but i don't want to use 1.7.2 because i run java 8 and therefore can't use forge > togglesprint. Not to mention i want to use TCPNoDelayMod, and i don't like BSM (gives me weird kb)

So i just want to end up using togglesneak/sprint mod + optifine + (optional) tcpnodelay, on 1.7, without having fps drops caused by enchanted items.

Anyone here has any solutions? Thanks for reading.

This could be caused by your enchantment glint. Are you using a very high-resolution resource pack?

Same problem here when I play on my laptop. I can edit the texture to a 1x1 black dot and remove enchantment glint but it will still drop to exactly 30 fps. It also seems to only happen on badlion.

I got the fix. Just download this .class file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d6hg9b08a467z5c/bfg.class

Open up your .jar file (%appdata%\.minecraft\versions\[version number]\[version number].jar) with an archiver program like WinRAR or 7zip and drop that .class file right into it.

Problem solved.
