The current mute system in my opinion is way too harsh.I agree with the way the mute scales if you repeatedly do it but i think the reset timer on these should be shorter (1 month) so if you don't get muted for that specific reason for 1 whole month then it is cleared and it will reset back to a 15 min mute.
Also, the 5-9 mutes within 3 months rule is harsh AF too because 5 mutes in 3 months = 1 mute every 18 days which is not hard to get at all. People accidentally might rage in chat every once in a while if they die to something annoying etc… or if they are making a meme in chat that is apparently offensive. My suggestion is to change this to 5 mutes in 1 month to separate the common toxic fuck from the occasional ragers

If you cannot be a respectful player who follows chat rules, you don't deserve to have the privilege of chatting. Looking at your punishments history it seems like so. It's not that the mute times are harsh, it's the fact that you would have been muted multiple times more before getting a mute of a long length. I agree with Regened, just be respectful in chat and it won't be a problem.Posted on 29 May 2016 - 10:42 PM

There is a command to help you get muted less, which is /premmute <Name> :DJK
You can just turn off global chat so that when you rage you have to toggle it on which by then you would realize you shouldn't be toxic. /tgc

To all of you arguing about the Badlion chat rules, it's not that hard to follow them. I have never been muted in my life, and don't think I will be for a long time. Also, remember young children play on Badlion. Sure, we have a lot of swearing so it's not really child friendly either way, but I used to know how to swear but there were a lot of extremely rude things I didn't understand. Only thing that should be changed is that if your last mute was 1 week and your next mute would be a month you should be able to go a month or so without getting muted and then the next punishment time will shorten (for example you get a week muted and your next mute will be a month, then you go a month with no mutes and your punishment time for your next mute goes down to a day or something)Posted on 30 May 2016 - 09:28 PM
