In my opinion, spectating is a very controversial topic, and I'll probably be receiving a lot of hate for this. In my honest opinion, I don't think spectating should be so… overpowered. Having a spectator is very VERY useful, yes, but at the same time spectators are an unfair advantage. It's like having a teammate in an FFA, or at the very least someone to be your eyes and ears. Telling someone where to get the diamond pieces they need for snowballing, who to clean up, where someone dug down, where head posts are, anything, all of these are an unfair advantage, yes? I rarely have a spec, and I'm not going to make the excuse that "oh, well spectators are the reason I'm so bad at uhc", because it's not (I'm bad at uhc because I get 40 fps in 100x100 and I'm a naturally stupidass player). But anyway, it's honestly REALLY getting on my nerves that people have such a huge advantage over other players, just saying. Please limit the hate to "just a shitty player" and "-1 you're a fucking idiot". Peace and love :)Posted on 30 May 2016 - 04:01 AM
To somehow nerf spectating, have it be nowhere outside of 100x100, have it be completely gone, or have you not able to spec until it's like 100x100, because by the time 100x100 has started most people will have already snowballed their gear (hopefully legit).Posted on 30 May 2016 - 05:07 PM
I feel like spectating is somewhat like a radar or something because you can know exactly where other players are without them knowing where u are.Posted on 31 May 2016 - 08:21 AM

+1, but speccing 100x100 would be pretty boring especially near the start of the game, maybe bump it up to like 200x200?Posted on 31 May 2016 - 02:44 PM
You can't remove a perk people have paid forjust no

As a donator, I honestly don't care if I lose my spec powers… It's too OP imoLast edited on 01 June 2016 - 01:09 AM by trevorhk
There are 2 sides to the coin. While I support your (Ram's) side, being able to spec in 500x500 can bring a little more revenue as supposed to 100x100 border. Point is, the value of the ranks will go down because of the border you can spec in depending on your rank.Posted on 01 June 2016 - 03:04 AM
Then we have to compromise, we can give donators another perk, whilst at the same time removing the advantage of specing.Posted on 01 June 2016 - 09:22 AM

I don't like the idea of having a spectator just for the sole fact of getting an advantage, but I feel like spectating is somewhat of a right to have. Honestly, I don't think there is a way to nerf it without outrage from the community.
