The new badlion meta is fucking disgusting. I was a 2050 and just wanted to play some build without having to say "duel me build every time". I play some matches and every game it was either a lava spammer and if not a lava spammer a bow spammer and if not a bow spammer a rod spammer and if not a rod spammer a camper. And the sad thing? They did it for one sole purpose. ELO. I'm not saying to take ranked out of the game. What I suggest is that you either add unranked build, or when you join a match people can not see your elo. I am getting sick and tired of continuously being tryharded for a stupid number in a game.

PS: No I am not mad about losing elo, I dont give a rats ass about elo. I am mad about the fact that you can't get into a game as a 2k without being completely tryharded by someone

Until some change is made concerning these issues I think I will just take a break from badlion. Thanks for your time

So lava spammers, bow spammers, rod spammers, and campers are all bad now? Who is to decide what is and what is not OK to do in a match? You? People can play whatever style they want, learn how to counter it yourself.
People play for elo?? No way! Yeah, that's probably the reason 99% of people on this sever prefer to play here and not Hypixel or something else, it is competitive and has a rating system that can show your skill over other people.
"Continuously being tryharded" so just another way of saying continuously beaten be people who are better than you?
For someone that says you don't care about a "stupid number in a game" you sure like to talk about it a lot.

whats the point of not trying hard, this IS a competitive pvp server

If people want to sweat for elo, thats not my problem. I just want there to be a way that I can play build without having someone continuously having to get 5 rods, or a couple lavas, or 10 bowshots before they want to go in on me.

Im not finding a way to complain about everything im just pointing out some flaws that I would like to see a change in the way badlion puts you up against another player.

I dont care if an actual GOOD player were to beat me with a good balance of everything instead of overloading me with bow/lava. I have literally completely given up on elo, last night, let everyone drain me so they could have their go at getting some high elo! Some of the people who beat me are NOT better than me, maybe better at bowspam, or lavaing, but they try extremely hard for elo.

I actually went up against a few people who were better than me, and beat me pretty fairly, so respect to them.

I like to talk about how that number effects the way people play against you. For example I was playing some unranked SG yesterday, and then went browsing on the forums. I saw a clan that I would like to join and one of the requirements was 1700 sg elo. Now keep in mind that in unranked sg everyone was meleeing and sometimes I won and lost but had a good time nonetheless. So when I tried to get my elo up in RANKED SG you wouldnt believe the amout of bowspam, or the amount of people who would fns you, run away, wait for the fns to wear off, fns you again, and run away again, and by then you're thinking, now they have to fight me! But, they follow all that up with bowspam.

Dont get me wrong hypixel skywars is pretty fun and its probably what ill be playing for the next few weeks, but the point is, that number 1 on that server really isnt the best, and number 1 on MCSG really isnt the best. But actually I cant think of anyone better than Danteh, so the badlion number 1 is pretty much the best. And there can always be a 1500 ACTUAL good player better than a 2k lava/rod/bow spammer.

The point is, the system is a little bit flawed, not too much, just a little bit

I just wanted to finish off by saying to FunkyFactions, Pleepo, and ccrraaffttyy, that you guys may not be feeling the full effect of what I was judging by your guys lower ELOs. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying your bad, hell you might be better than me, but what I'm saying is the higher elo you get the more you start feeling it.

Thank you for giving me time to think about your post. I will now list counter-strategies to all the things you said.

Lava spammer- simple. Get good at blocking it up and you're fine.
Bow spammer- also simple. As soon as they run out of arrows do the exact same for them to experience karma on a mass scale.
Rod spammer- with every time they rod you, they get more paranoid about their rod breaking. This plays with their mind, taking their concentration off you and onto the rod. This scales. Eventually they'll be far too paranoid to even rod correctly. Rod spamming works against, not works for.
Camper- use their own walls against them with the lava-wall tactic.

Thanks, I'll try these things out, but my point is that its gets pretty annoying when it gets to the point that you are doing this ever match. But again thanks for trying to help out, I appreciate it.
