What inclines people to almost only melee people?

I'm mostly curious, I have a few suspicions, but I'm not really sure why fights almost always resort to melee. With the bow you can do damage from a distance without taking damage (which is why i love bowspam :D) but from watching videos I rarely, if ever, see anyone having a bowfight.

So yea, thats it. What makes all of you UHC players so inclined to melee and stay away from bowfights?

people are way too impatient and dont want to have a 7 min fight (which imo are the best kind of fights)

Also melee is generically easier than bow therefore more people do it and push it

Because they arent good at bow or they are impatient/way more stacked than the other person and are guaranteed to win in melee, most badlion kits are melee orientated meaning its what most badlion players are good at.

I get drained if i bowspam with healing but if i do not have healing and in the fight im the only one that has a bow i have a little fun with it

If you bow spam someon you drain all of their healing where as if you quick drop them in Melee you get their healing.

usually on badlion players never use the bow because of the big ammount of healing, absobtionless games encourage bow fights because when you gapple you are still at low healt and you can be killed with a shot.
There are bowspammers that still use the bow at 5 blocks (cyburgh) and i hate that, uhc community are not balanced reddit has bowspammers badlion has swordrushers

no, it's because if you drain you opponent's healing than you gain nothing from the fight and it's useless+ some ppl think that they can be killed using the bow or don't have enoughf healing to take up a bow fight

I dont mind bow fighting, but when someone is just bowspamming/rodspamming 10 arrows a second I just wanna alt+f4 and never come back
