Not sure how to start this but I guess you could say Im as heated as archy right now. Going back to the old Elo system because of the amount of people wanting it IS NOT a good idea in my opinion. I feel like it was not the best decision in mind. Heres how it looks like to me. The season 5 system encourages players to play more so they can keep their elo/rating safe( the more matches you play the less rating you lose for losing ) while the season 6 rating system ( as of right now ) encourages players to play for a day then stop because of ladder anxiety. As everyone now knows badlion isnt doing well at all when it comes to paying the bills for the server. So how exactly is bringing a system back that encourages playing for a couple hours then never coming back. Think of it this way. Citizens of the U.S vote for the president. But THEY are not really voting its the house of representatives whos votes matter. If the presidential election was decided by popular vote it would just be a popularity contest because most Americans dont know shit about politics and vote for whoever has a better voice or has a cool name. The point is the people who want the season 6 system dont really want the "system" they just like it because its what their used to.


Generally, im just really heated at the moment and I probably just need a snickers bar. Il probably be over this tomorrow

Wondering if anyone feels the same way as me. D:

One last thing im wondering is when are these "fixes" for this season going to be added?

Don't come and lecture me with your 12 year old logic please, because that is not how the electoral college works at ALL. As for the rest of your post, we were sick of trying to show people how it works, and now the extremely high 1% people have to suffer because of the uninformed 99%, just like in politics

That's offensive and almost completely false. Popular vote plays a huge role in who wins the election. Also, only once since 1888 has the popular vote failed to be in favor of the winning president; for George W. Bush.

So I think most people would agree that those statistics actually show American's as a whole has a good idea of what's what in politics. Don't be so short sighted please.

But to be on topic, Badlion did build up to and reach its most users online at one time with the new ranking system. However the old elo system (the one used now) seems to encourage grinding to beat other players ratings, which seems like a good way to keep players online. It's working for me.
