I was originally very supportive of kohi merging with badlion but potpvp has went to shit on this server and Gcheat probably barely runs any checks on kohi because people are blatantly cheating and moderators doing fuck all other than occasionally muting people if they are even on to start with.
Most people are probably thinking "But season 13 will deal with this", I am sure that there won't be a seperate server to host pot pvp and build uhc, sg etc so I'm going to have to deal with "duel me build uhc gods only" shit 24/7 where the minority will be pot players and will make up only a fraction of the server.
I can't just go to another pot community because badlion is the only competitive server that is any good right now and any other practice server is filled with 1400 skill level players and blatant cheaters.
Trying to play ranked on practice is literally a nightmare, nearly everyone above 1400 elo cheats and you can't do anything about it, pot ladders on bl are just full of 1400's (talking about badlion's elo now) that you play against with horrible hit detection and potlag, its no fun getting leaderboards because there is no competition, not to mention whenever I type in chat I always get shit like "can u whitelist my friend for uhc pls" or "can I have ranked matches????111!!! plzplzplz" and I wish I never got lion from the no debuff tourney hosted a while back so I don't have to keep reading this shit in chat, if I turn global chat off or chat altogether then I can't really talk to any of my friends so its an inconvenience either way.
If Badlion really did care enough about pot then it would literally make it like a seperate part of what you have to offer like splitting it up having 2 global ladders for speed II and non-speed II ladders but that won't happen, not that I think.
You guys are literally handing over all your players for when minehq releases potpvp because it will be just for pot players and a lot of what I listed here will be rare on this server, I don't even care if it is US, it will still feel much smoother and better.
I don't want to make this any longer but I have very little motivation to play anymore but take a look at these:
Maybe I'm just too pessimistic and thinking ahead of myself, season 13 hasn't even released yet.
I don't know anymore.

At least take something from it.

It kind of strikes me oddly how you are here ranting about a bunch of cheaters in Kohi Practice, and apparently trying to put the blame on Badlion when in fact the people playing Practice are the people who were the original Kohi members. As if Badlion brought a bunch of cheaters to Kohi when in fact it was actually the opposite. The reason this past judgement day happened was because so many new cheaters were added to the Badlion community between the massive unban wave and the new players joining Badlion from Kohi.Season 13 aims to rework a lot of the systems including how we do PvP matches on arenapvp altogether. We are redesigning our back-end systems to make sure the smoothest PvP experience possible is found here on Badlion. Not any of this "bad hit detection" and crud along those lines. We will be releasing information about season 13 shortly. We are just starting our first alpha stages to make sure the system is working properly before we push for more features and a closed Donator beta. I want to guess that the final release will be towards the end of this month or the start of next month.
In addition we are looking to launch the new Asia and South American regions for ArenaPvP at the start of next season as an experiment to see 1. If they actually can sustain themselves in terms of server bills (need purchases) and 2. how the game quality increased in each region as people with high ping are moved into regions with lower ping.

There was a huge cheating problem on kohi before the merge. The only problem now is because badlion doesn't screenshare, people with high elo that had good clients before would get caught that way since they wouldn't get detected.Just play on arena PvP honestly. It has a lot more pot pvpers than before and the no debuff ladder is actually somewhat challenging. KB and potting is also less shitty than on practice.

My main point was the lag and hit detection, cheaters I meant were from kohi, it's just that how blatant they can cheat on the server without getting caught by gcheat is insane, I posted a video in the thread after judgement day of how blatant a player was,
I'm quite happy about all the other issues you addressed which is planned to be fixed in season 13, do you planned to have a donator beta? (I want to give it a shot lol)
Besides that since you're here, could you add red rovers as an option in parties?
Or make it a donator perk idk.
I'm just quite worried about season 13 since I'm probably going to spend summer on it and want it to be perfect.

When was the last time you played it? There are lag spikes every rare once in a while but otherwise it's fine. Better than practice right now at least…

GCheat has not been updated yet with the JDv7 checks for auto-banning. It will be setup this coming weekend as we are still analyzing data for false ban possibilities. Yes the closed beta will be Donator access. Red rover is already an option for parties isn't it? Or you mean within the party?

I mean as in the party like it is built into arena pvp in parties to make it more convenient, the party leader can pick 2-4 captains (and can be one themselves) which will then be placed into an arena where you can watch the fight, when one player is killed, a captain picks their next player to fight, if you win a fight in a red rover your kit will be reset so it will continue to be fair.
The reason I also want this is because it is a pain in the ass to host a red rover normally because you get annoying players who hit everyone and can mess everything up.
Pretty much like this.

Wasn't it like 30k people get unbanned?

I mean unbanning over THIRTY THOUSAND cheaters because of the merge just killed practice along with whatever happened to the practice KB and hit registration, now we've got even MORE cheaters on what used to be Kohi's practice servers AND the KB is horrible now, I think we would all appreciate it if devs would make Practice at least playable again in season 13

I bet if we removed unlimited ranked matches from practice it would solve the blatant cheater issue at high elosLast edited on 08 June 2016 - 02:44 PM by Badware

One of the main reasons that I played Kohi over Badlion every day that I could was because I didn't have to worry about running out of matches. Sure that would solve one problem, but it would be at the expense of a bunch of legit players' enjoyment.

I feel like the merge was done way too soon. Of course right now, practise is complete ass in the eyes of pretty much all potpvpers. If season 13 is going to fix this, I'm not sure why you guys didn't merge after you had season 13 prepared or nearer to the time of season 13's release.

Too bad we can't screenshare suspicious players. On Kohi when you got to a really high elo, and if the general assumption was that you were cheating somehow, you got screenshared and 3/4 of the high elo players were cheating. Now the top 10 on all the leaderboards are cheating and GCheat is going to take it's time to wait until JD to ban them while legit players continue to get beat.Posted on 09 June 2016 - 04:44 PM
