Didn't think I would have to make a post about this because I thought it would have been banned by now, but apparently not. Ever since streamers started getting pretty much unlimited lives or '9 lives' or whatever people are calling it, half of the community thinks is should be banable and the other half who think it's ok, I know there has been so many threads about this but I just wanna give my opinion on it because I'm bored of fanboys (no offense) and big streamers saying that it shouldn't be banable because 'they JUST want to keep on entertaining people' which I think is complete bs.The main argument for it to be allowed is for 'entertainment' purposes which I completely disagree with. If you want to entertain people then play mini or potion PVP once you die. It has gotten to the point where people are streaming because they want to get given account of people and it isn't because they want to entertain anymore. I would say only 2 big streamers play UHC for pure entertainment which are Dfield and Barcode. Dfield disagrees with it because it defeats the point of UHC and IMO is probably the most entertaining streamer even though I don't really watch him. So pretty much it has gotten to the point where streamers say they want accounts for entertainment but really they just want to win and get their original team the stats.
Another excuse streamers use is "we do it because there are so many people on badlion xraying and hacking and it's unfair!!" So what? Normal players also die to them and we don't get to go on accounts? You are just as bad as them, ruining other people's games. Another dumb argument for it is 'it doesn't help their stats'. This is stupid because that isn't the problem, the problem is ruining other people's games. If anything it is boosting other people's stats when they don't deserve it.
Ok so here are the reasons against it:
1) IMO It is an 'unfair advantage' just like X-ray and I would say it is more of an advantage. They can literally just go in every fight and not care as they can just get and account of someone who has the best stuff which is usually full diamond with a fire aspect or something like speed. As I said I'm pretty sure people would choose having 9 lives over X-ray.
2) What's the point of even killing streamers when they will just come back more stacked and potentially kill you later on?
3) It completely defeats the point of UHC just like sacrificing did, but it is worse.
4) People are mining for streamers so they can get them stats on their account, which again defeats the purpose of UHC.
Definitely gonna get fanboys or streamers getting mad over this thread but I couldn't care less, and yea sorry for the essay never thought I would write an essay on something Minecraft related but I just had a lot to say as I bored of people excuses about it xD

+1 @MasterGberry are we doing something?Posted on 13 June 2016 - 12:31 PM
We have been discussing this in the admin circle the past few days. We plan to reach a decision today.Posted on 13 June 2016 - 01:02 PM
+1My suggestion is that if they die caving at like <30 minutes in, then for entertainment purposes a second account is fair enough so the stream viewers do have something to watch. But I do think more than 2 accounts is excessive and if you die from balling at any point in the game, then that's your own fault and shouldn't be allowed on another account.

-1 why does it matter to you? It won't change the number of players in the game. It won't gupive the streamer extra stats. If someone is willing to lend there account to a streamer so they can keep playing then let them do it!Posted on 13 June 2016 - 04:43 PM

I'll tell you most peoples reasoning.
Danteh (2.8k) is going around snowballing but then he dies, another guy, let's say he is 1900, has mined full diamond. His pvp skills aren't good enough to win a UHC so he gives his acc to Danteh who can easily win a UHC, process repeats.
Is it really fair to give a 2.8k so many chances to win?

This exactly. It doesn't seem like there is pretty much anyone on this server that can keep up with Danteh (unless they hack) in 100x100 in a fair 1v1. He literally destroys everyone, never mind when he has fire/speed/poison etc. so it's really not fair for people to have to face him like 3 times on different accounts because the likelyhood is he'll end up winning.
