Grammar Issue
This forum thread has incorrect grammar, "are" should be used when they are performing an action, such as "Joe and Maria ARE walking to the park"
The correct way for two nouns should me "Betraying and scamming is now illegal."

Wrong. Betraying and scamming are two separate things, and therefore "are" is correct. "Is" is singular, "are" is plural. Thanks for the effort though ;)

nope, since theres two nouns in the subject its a compound subject, and compound subjects are treated as plural. and by the rule of subject verb agreement you need a plural verb, meaning 'are' is correct. so falcon is right
