TNT Trap allowed?

earlier today i was casually playing a rush to3 UHC when i am greeted with an inescapable TNT trap which two other players created at the 55 minute shrink. i was taken down to half a heart unable to eat my golden head on time and the two players who trapped the border then proceeded to 'one tap' me and that was the end of my UHC.

Personally i think this should be bannable as theres nothing one can do to save themselves from a TNT trap as all they can do is watch and see all their effort made in the last hour go to complete waste and the diamonds you earned in the hands of another person

They set that trap up, it was their strategy, and they used the border to their advantage. Sure it's frustrating for you but I don't think it should be bannable. As I've said, you still have to keep UHC as Ultra Hardcore and not, as some people put it, "Ultra Easycore".

Why then is trapping a nether portal bannable?

Basically you can decide whether you want to be tped with the border and possibly trapped or not, but you can't really decide when it comes to portals

well you could decide not to go to the nether… Same sort of risk

Trapping nether portals disables a part of the game for some players, not really their fault that they want to explore a different part of the game and get trapped, while it's completely your fault if you get shrunk and trapped, you should get closer to 0,0 (that's the exact purpose of the border)

If you run one coord down, then you will not get corner shrunk. If the border is going to shrink to 2k 2k in 2 minutes and you are 2.4 2.4, then you can run to 2.4 1.9 or 1.9 2.4 so that you don't get trapped. Then you can come from behind and kill them.
