ez = filtered, minor trash talkrekt = filtered, minor trash talk
however,
nigger/nigga = not filtered, insta mute
cunt = not filtered, insta mute
faggot = not filtered, insta mute
many other racial slurs / bad words = not filtered, insta mute
kys, hang etc = not filtered, insta week mute (or more)
seems a little odd!

We're going to continue muting for disrespect and tough luck if you don't like it. Learn to take your anger elsewhere and not release it on our players if you don't want to get punished. Not a lot to comply with and fairly easy to do. We can be a lenient staff team but people like you are encouraging us to change that drastically.
We mute usually based on context. That goes for inappropriate IGN's, phrases with swear words, death wishes etc. What you said was directed towards someone or something and had a clear type of context to it to fully understand, which ultimately lead to a valid mute. You definitely didn't need to put the last word in. Or anything in general.
EDIT: We censor all swear words = People riot on forums to be more lenient

Muting for the word "faggot" is fucking retarded, it is literally not offensive to anyone and you mute for "Homophobic slurs" just because of a single meaning of the word. If you're going to mute for "faggot" for being homophobic then how about you mute "bitch" or "slut" for "misogynistic slurs"?
Honestly, I'd think most people would agree that the rules are getting a little out of hand, especially considering the new mute system where people are literally getting muted for a week and in some cases a month just for saying a non-offensive word.

Yes, people get muted for racism. Our goal isn't to let racist players harass other people without getting punished. They need to get what they truly deserve. If you label someone as probably one of the worst kinds of words for discrimination for the color of their skin, don't expect us to be lenient on that.
Whoever you're talking to online, you don't always truly know who's behind the computer. If you don't know them, don't discriminate them for no apparent valid reason. We have 0 tolerance for racism and you can't argue that the 'n' word isn't racist or could be interpreted as racist to someone. Be smart and don't say it in the first place.

Because they scale firstly. We're not letting you be punished for the same exact time period each time you break the same rule. The new mute system should knock some sense into repeating offenders to stop doing the same thing unless you want a longer punishment because you never learnt a thing from the previous one.
