Dramatic Ping Changes
To be honest, I am a west coast player but love to play on east servers since they are more popular. Here is the list of my usual ping:
West - 30
East - 85
EU - 160
AU - 220

Here is my problem. Over the past 2 days or so I have experienced an interesting change in ping. I have my router unchanged and I am in the same location but look at these ping differences:
West - 30
East - 120
EU - 200
AU - 200

I have suddenly seen a dramatic change in east (the one I care about most) for about 40 ping higher. Again I have not changed computers, routers, internet, location, and none of my family has experienced slower internet. I was wondering what I could do to make this better or see if the servers have changed, like south canada to NYC or someplace else. I was also wondering if this is taking place due to problems with alpha testing in SA and asia proxies. I was wondering if west or east players are experiencing a similar problem, its alpha testing with new proxies, or if it's me.

Thanks for taking the time to read through my long post! I really love your guys's server and "I don't want to resort to mineplex ****" (Badlion Community 2016).

I am noticing the same exact thing. It might be a west coast problem, but I can't tell for sure.

You have less than 150 ms. You'll be fine. When I was living in the EU I had over 180 ms even when connecting to the EU servers.

Having the same issue my eu ping has gone from 160 to 220 and my na from 220 to 300.

Appears to be a problem for many people not just yourself from the replies. Will connect today and see the results

Ok the ping changes are still there, and obviously other people are having issues with NA and EU. Can a developer tell me if its because they're adding new proxies or if it's the server itself.

We dont give a fuck about your ping btw having less than 150ms is playable but still that wasnt what we were trying to solve here.

@MasterGberry
Any idea what's going on. This seems to be an issue with a lot of us.

Its because of the big temperature, where i live today was 41°C(105°F) so i get two times higher ping than i would normally do
