Not really feminism itself, but the feminazis who ruin the whole concept believing they should get special treatement because of their gender.
feminism has played it's part in the western world, there's no need for it here. You can't argue with that at all, because it's either A) bullshit or B) irrelevant
These middle class, spoilt little cunts calling themselves feminists only advocate for themselves.
Not for the millions of women across the world who are raped, murdered, sold and beaten (coincidentally,in mostly Islamic countries).
I read something about some group of femicunts bitching and moaning because they are so equal to men in the United States today, they are eligible for the draft in case the US wants to invade another desert again. Fucking selfish, bullshit, Marxist proffesional victims who have realized their Gender Studies degree paid for by their rich well-off parents is worthless.

Those are feminazis, not real feminists.
But tbh ur right feminism is not really needed in the western world.

the whole no true scotsman doesn't really work in this case.
The support for third wave feminism is in the hundreds of thousands if not millions.
So it is feminism in it's current form
Not egalitarianism
Feminism

Actually you know what, it's gonna bother me if I don't respond to this.
What you're saying here is the practical definition of a strawman argument, where you attempt to categorize and define all feminists despite the many different forms feminism takes.
Don't get me wrong - I've had my own share of shitty experiences with radical feminists, who seem to think that the fact that I have a penis disqualifies me from having an opinion on anything, ever. I don't like them and I don't sympathize with them. But I have met my fair share of feminists who seem like reasonable people who are genuinely concerned with the welfare of women.
Yes, millions of woman in the world have it worse than the woman in 1st world countries, but that doesn't mean everything in the US or Europe is all magic and nice. Sexist harassment still exists. A huge amount of rape and poor response to rape exists. Just recently, a man was sentenced to only 6 months in prison after brutually sexually assaulting some poor girl, mainly because of his record as an athlete.
Doesn't that strike you as wrong? That maybe someone should do something about it?
But what I find most glaring and obnoxious about your post is that you seem to think these feminists's opinions don't matter because they're "spoiled and have well off parents", aka are rich and live in 1st world countries. You know what that sounds like? The exact same "your opinion doesn't matter because you have privilege" argument that radfems use.
I'm not saying that some complaints about feminism aren't legitimate, and I would never claim that feminism isn't flawed. But you're judging a movement on the actions of the few, and your logic here doesn't hold up at all.

It's wrong. It's not down to the government. It's not down to the establishment. It's not down to the supposed """""""""rape culture""""""""" we live in. It's down to individual acts of stupidity made by the court, judge and jury.

The majority (not minority) of third wave feminists are in-fact middle class. How do they represent the rights of women from all walks of life across the world? They think they have it so bad but they don't; life has never been better for women in the western world.
I'm not saying that some complaints about feminism aren't legitimate, and I would never claim that feminism isn't flawed. But you're judging a movement on the actions of the few And here we go again, and your logic here doesn't hold up at all.
I'm judging a movement based on the current form it takes, better known as "Third Wave Feminism". Unfortunately that phrase and just simply 'Feminism' have become inter-sectional (Ironic isn't it?) so I didn't bother to specify what exactly I was talking about.
I have this view as a lower-middle class British person who has lived in a household of only women since I was around 2 years old

There is no such movement called egalitarianism – it's merely a label. While I would have been 100% an advocate for first and second wave feminism had I been alive back when they existed, third wave feminism isn't really a movement I can get behind – though it's still respectable. It's embedded in postmodernism and skeptical liberalism, but I think it's taken both of those a bit out of hand and has entered a zone of cognitive dissonance, where their ideas and principles seem to go against each other. "Rape culture" doesn't exist, the wage gap is a myth, and I feel in modern-day westernised society women are only subordinate to men if they think they're subordinate to men. I think women have a lot of problems that men don't have but said problems are so trivial that I think they should focus on activism in another area. Feminism attempts to break apart traditionalism and bring down societal norms that just won't budge in non-liberal communities; I instead recommend that they look outside their community and apply first-wave and second-wave feminism in places where it's needed, namely the middle east.Posted on 20 June 2016 - 09:48 PM

I want to say it does, but what exists of it is far from something I'd call a "culture"
