I have been trying to deal with this for the past couple of days. My east ping has gone up a ton.
My ping before
East - 40
West - 90
EU- 140
AU - 200
My "new" Ping
East - 150
West - 90
EU - 140
AU - 200

For some reason my east ping has gone up. I have tested it seeing if it was just badlion, and it was. I tried playing CSGO , Overwatch, and other games but they were all normal.
It's only my east ping and I don't know why.
I was wondering if any body else has been having this problem or if there was some sort of VPN that was allowed that I could use to lower my ping.

Gberry changed a few some network things and for a few days the same thing was happening to me but then it slowly got fixed just wait 2-3 days see if that helps also a vpn decreasing ping is a myth.

yeah I've never heard of a VPN bettering a connection. Your internet speed is determined by your ISP not the VPN. It would take a very special case in which the VPN would actually speed up your packet transfers, an interconnection. It is said that there is around 10-15% extra packet headers with a VPN. Currently, there has been no official announcement of a proxy change on east, so there is no reason why you should be fluctuating on the badlion side of things.
