Amazing idea that will blow your mind
So in appeals the only people who can post is the appeal maker and staff. Wouldn't it make sense if the appeal maker could choose one other person to post as well? They could make a better case, speak on their behalf, or act as a witness. This could work for reports as well.

+1,truthfully, the staff should go through every individual appeal rather than having the guilty ones automatically getting accepted.

I know that, I've made a GCheat appeal myself, but as soon as I clicked the "submit appeal" buttom my appeal was already accetped before the entire page loaded up. Isn't GCheat bans just as bad as anything else, if not, even worse.

Don't know though. It would be nice for actual people to read and accept/decline appeals, but again, hundreds of appeals flow through the system every day. Sorting them all out with any size staff team would be a never ending task.

The appeals that have invalid reasoning/no effort get found out eventually and the appeal gets reversed.

All of the normal bans which have been issued one month or earlier (insta-unban) and where they admit to it. The more bans you have the more time it'll take to get unbanned. That's how I think it goes.

Pretty sure mods attend to those. I've read suicide encouragement appeals from the past where bans were the penalty, and the mods accepted or declined the appeals based on what they felt doing. (Or the seniors)

If someone appeals a manual ban it tags the banner

Not always, if the ban is old-ish (1+ months) I've seen that

I mean I really don't see this being useful, as it's not another person's ban, it's the person who is appealing's ban. This would be useless because it doesn't matter what that person says, it won't really change the outcome of the appeal.

Witnesses are useless, beacause there's no way to prove they were witnessesing, and yes it could change the outcome of the appeal. Appeals are comparable to the real court. Except almost always you will see a lawyer or something speaking on the defendants behalf, and it almost always makes a difference,

Witnesses will not sway appeals at all. Either a player is cheating or not (or broke the rules or not) and a witness won't help convince us they weren't, especially if there is cut clear evidence. People can have 100 witnesses say they were not cheating and if the evidence is clear that they were, we would not even hesitate to deny the appeal.
