Alright, I've been trying my best to improve based on what you guys told me. I've learned a lot more about minecraft mechanics, such as knockback, redstone, and water physics. I've been practicing my rod and trying to implement lava buckets into my matches, but I still feel like I'm the same skill level as when I joined Badlion. Literally I'm still the same 1400 that joined about 5+ months ago, and I've seen people who are 1800, and have been playing for only 3 months. Plus, whats even more discouraging, is that people spew out pure cancer whenever you manage to win, or are forced to play desperately. Every possible option you guys listed for me to practice isn't working at all, and I honestly don't know what to do. :/Have any of you been in my situation?- what did you do to improve out of it?

1. Take the pick axe out of your hotbar2. Put your rod in a more accessible spot, like slot 2 so you can click to it faster. Unless you hotkey ?

The main reason I think people are 1400 is because of their accuracy. Adjust your sensitivity to something that feels smooth so you can keep your cross hairs on your opponent. Then focus on strafing. After that just focus on rodding and click speed.Posted on 26 June 2016 - 07:35 PM

I will most likely replace the pickaxe with another water bucket. For some reason, I always thought I'd need it in case people hid in built structures.
The reason I put the rod in my ninth slot is because I have a side button on my mouse. :P

I always try to rod, but most of the time it is ineffective, and it misses my opponent. How do I improve my rodsmanship?

I agree also try and go for rod tricks they are very good for quickdropping people also i lava when i can i try and not focus to much on lava as it distracts me from doing other stuff.
