I agree also try and go for rod tricks they are very good for quickdropping people also i lava when i can i try and not focus to much on lava as it distracts me from doing other stuff.
sometimes i lava just to distract people when they try to block it up then get a ton of hits off them

I'm not that great on build uhc, but I have rekt some 1.8k's so yeah, here is my advice:

1) Learn to rod. Like bowing, you need to predict where your opponent will be.
I learnt that by going to sg and just rodding people away from me for as long as I can, without fighting really. It makes them mad AND it trains your rodding, so win-win!

2) Get a good hotbar. Remove the pickaxe and get a lava bucket instead or something. Put your rod and bow in a better place.
My rule to sorting my hotbar is: I use it more -> I move it left.

3) Learn to bow. Like rodding, you need to predict where your opponent will be.

4) Git gud

Get a heavier mouse pad, lower sens to 50(unless you barely move your mouse), keep calm, dont click too fast to the point where u cant aim, dont bow spam, full charge, wall up if u suck at bow, dig down and go mining if someone has a horse

You're not better than higher elos just because you "rekt" some of them. Everyone has their good and bad days, and nobody is consistent all the time. If you really were good, you'd probably be well above 1400 elo by now. The fact that you have "rekt" 1800's but are still 1500-ish must mean that you lose a lot to players with low elo or players with about the same elo as you.

Your not the first person to tell me this. Your guys say game sense, but how does one improve upon his game sense?

1. Try using a 16x texture pack if your computer isn't that good. Archy said something about how that improves hit detection and stuff.

2. w-tap when you hear the hit of your sword on the other player.– Tylarzz does this.

3. Bow whenever possible and create as much distance as you can before engaging.

4. Getting a better computer is the easiest way to get better.
