I have been playing some BuildUHC and came across 2 1200s. This is not out of the ordinary. However, it turned out that they have been getting rid of elo so they could regain it. This does not seem that unfair at first, but when you think about the players of around 1500 elo fighting someone who should be 1650+ you soon realize that this is a bad system. Not only does it make the person losing feel bad, but they then lose 23-28 elo! I believe that it should be based on averages instead of the current elo that should be lost. In addition there should be a limit either side if the player's elo so a 1450 does not play against a series of 1800-1900s. Thancz 4 reedin me duk!Posted on 26 June 2016 - 01:43 PM
If you see people purposely losing and regaining elo to drain people, then they are elo manipulating and you can report them on the forums for that.As for the ranking system, it is going to be changed in season 13 to resemble Kohi's elo system so people with such wide elos will not have to always play each other.

S13 will have the Kohi matchmaking system which will fix this issue.Posted on 26 June 2016 - 06:01 PM
Season 5 had a system like this, but people didn't like it and they went back.Posted on 26 June 2016 - 06:29 PM
