Too many Cheaters
Practice EU 1

Recently on your server play a lot of cheaters. They can use fucking clients (Huzuni, flare) and they don't get a ban. I know people which have +1400 elo and they play on clickers. This is so fucking funny. One guy has 1500 global elo and He told he has VAPE, he showed me. The worst is that when i report people like this (cheaters) which have 0 kb, moderators do nothing with it. I almost never see them (moderators). Every one who has +1200 elo hit me from 5 blocks. Please, do something.

Nobody is bothered to report a player than can easily just ban evade and get shitloads of chances from a broken appeal system that is a huge waste of time.

Apart from notifying all staff with a staff rank to that server and it saving you from a mute.

Not to be disrespectful or ungrateful, but how often does a report get answered? And how does it save me a mute?

I'm not sure if you realise but staff don't always have to message you or anyone else who reports to say they are spectating. Maybe you don't realise it but staff answer reports frequently. To answer your other question, if you hackusate in global chat then you get a mute hence why it saves you from a mute.

Well not everyone hackusates in global chat. It's also very common knowledge most reports go unanswered. Again, not bashing or hating, just stating facts.

Just going to break the quote chain and answer like this instead. A lot of people hackusate in chat especially on the ArenaPvP servers and such. To end this all off use ./report and although you may think it goes unanswered, it probably hasn't. Most reports are false and hence why the moderator spectating doesn't ban or anything otherwise it would be a false ban and the person would be unbanned instantly. This is probably why you think "most reports go unanswered".

Thank you for clarifying.
On a side note, it would be an interesting system to see a way of getting an update on your report (accepted, denied, pending) though it would be time consuming for the staff to do that for every report.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Alot of what goes into keeping the server running is how the staff use their best discretion when they come on to moderate the server. I spend a good 4/5th of my time moderating the server when I am online and though this number is not accurate to a tee it is different for every staff, yet we all still follow the same basic guidelines as a staff member. But some staff are better at and enjoy spending more time handling issues or questions that they may be asking in game, some staff may be better at moderating chat and making sure a welcoming environment and tone for newer players is consistently set, some staff may rather spend the majority of their time moderating answering /reports. Personally, I find myself spending more time investigating reports and helping players who have accusations. It is not my goal to blow off a player just because they are frustrated that they lost elo because of a hacker. I honestly make an effort to try and understand the situation and give a reasonable response to the player(s) who are in a frustrating predicament. Remember, there is alot going on in chat and on the staff side in game when there is a lobby full of 800+ people. It is nearly impossible for us to catch every single problem, question, report, ect in chat in this kind of a situation. Once I handle an issue, however long it takes, I then proceed to answering the next one, the amount of time each question takes can be completely subjective. Sometimes one person may have a more complicated issue and they need more time allocated to helping them. It is because things like this where I am sometimes prompted by players in game that I am AFK or am not doing my job, when in reality I am trying to help someone. Try not to make assumptions of staff, when we are in game & moderating we are almost always occupied with something, so please do guess that we are not doing anything about hackers. Use our report system, while we may not be able to address every report right away, it is the best way for you to notify staff about a player breaking the rules.

As a mod, you are just typing what you want to believe. What about the times where no mod is on? Midnight, early in the morning, etc. All the reports will just go to waste. Even when there ARE mods on, tens of reports flow through every minute. You're delusional if you think a quarter of them are answered. And I acknowledge that, a mod can't be specing a hacker and a camper at the same time.

If there are no Mods on then how would a report get answered if there is no one there to answer them… You need to understand that not all reports are true and most are false hence why nothing happens to the accused. People probably report someone who they think is hacking but in reality they aren't then they automatically assume that the Mod isn't do anything.

I'm not a newbie here. I know very well how things work, just from picking up information in staff reports, player reports, appeals, etc. I know that most reports are false. But I was going on about how most reports go unanswered, then you reply with that statement that doesn't really answer my previous inquiry…
