Hardest ladder to be consistent at?

vanilla is my best pot ladder simply because I play super aggressive and drop everyone super quick.
Yeah I can drop people lower elo than me in a matter of seconds but against someone who knows what they're doing I have trouble conserving pots and managing buffs/debuffs.

yeah I cant pot conserve in vanilla. When I fight drummer or djthread in vanilla I run out of pots in about a minute because I panic so much LOL

Personally I love the challenge of IronSoup, it is one of my favorite ladders, yet probably the most difficult to be consistently good at. (For me, personally at least.)

Same, I love the challenge of the kit, too bad nobody really plays it, I have to ask in chat for someone to join everytime I want to play it.

Opinions? (kindbored so ill just list out all the ladders and my opinions)

Vanilla: You drop fast, but if you're truly good you won't quickdrop. Fair
Archer: A ton of alts in that ladder, can be hard to be consistent but not really if you're actually good. Fair
Advanced UHC: You pop very fast with the bow, so if someone lands a ton of full powered shots on you you're screwed. Fairly hard
BuildUHC: Not really hard, just have to be good. Fair
IronBuildUHC: Pop very fast, one combo can change the game. Fairly hard
Diamond: One combo can change the game here too, Diamond fights are always close, even with lower ratings. Medium
UHC: Tanky bow kit, hard to die from a few bow shots unlike Advanced. Low
Iron: Take damage relatively fast, can be hard to be consistent. Not too squishy though. Medium
SG: One combo/Fns/Bow shots can all change the game, but again if you're good you won't drop from these. Medium-high
Kohi: Hard to quickdrop, relatively tanky. Low-medium
Gapple: Basically impossible to die if you're actually better than your opponent, unless he conserves the fuck out of you. Very low
Nodebuff: Tanky shit, very difficult to quickdrop. Low
Iron soup: Very, very difficult ladder. A few hits can change the game, very limited healing, rely on crits and blockhits to survive. Very hard
Horse: Since 2 bow games are involved, you need skill to win. Probably won't die if you're better. Low
Skywars: Hard to be consistent at since you can die in many ways. (Void, fall damage, normal damage, etc) Medium-high

So, to wrap it up, imo the ladder that's the hardest to keep your kdr up in is iron soup, for the reasoning above. Your thoughts? of

Gapple can be super hard to be consistent in, it's arguably the "go-to" ladder for cheaters, and the top 10 is usually filled with with 50% cheaters (ask @Daveroo @HegelsBagels). You never know who you'll fight, since if someone is alting or cheating it's almost impossible to win, and it's easier to quickdrop than you think.

Gapple is much harder than you think lol. I have played for many seasons and it has increased with cheaters and more tryhards jump critting like a kangaroo

@Daveroo @Legendcaleb so what ranking should it be, do you think?

Vanilla is hard for me since the regen is complete crap and it gives you strength, so I panic when somebody gets even a 2-3 hit combo on me. So I'd put that near the top of the list. Skywars is hard too I'm like a 1500ish in that kit and ive gone against 1800-2ks and won just because they fall out of the map. Gapple/Kohi is my favorite kit because I like to tank XD… I hate worrying over my health. Just eat a gapple and spam click for a few minutes. Sounds good to me! I'm 1619 in that kit and I always win against people who are worse than me. basically look at the elo of your opponent and it determines the match. However I hate when people use their alts and I've gone against quite a few alts who were fighting like 1800s+ even though their elo was 1400. It's frustrating.

I agree with @Legendcaleb and @Daveroo - without wanting to seem like a dumb fanboy, Gapple is a difficult ladder which requires you to be extremely consistent in order to grind elo. Those who make it to the top 10 without cheating are respectable in my eyes.

In my opinion, I'd classify the ladder as medium-hard. :)

Pot and gapple are a lot easier to be consistent at than bow ladders, simply because in bow ladders one hit can decide the outcome of a match. In pot/gapple this is rarely the case meaning there's slightly more room for error.

Needless to say I prefer pot/gap > bow.

BuildUHC is THE easiest ladder around, i've seen people with not even 1300 ELO in potion and MCSG that are 2200+ in Build. Vanilla is incredibly easy to grind as everyone that plays it is 1400, the only problem is being quickdropped because of the amount of damage you take.

As for the harder ladders, I would say horse and skywars because they are just plain stupid and random, it can take no skill to hit a 2000 elo skywars player off the edge because it is very luck based

Not really, most 1800+ in skywars do the shift and unshift thing to get to the islands faster. Most people can't do it or by the time they reach the island. The other guy is already there. Horse isn't that difficult either, all you have to do is just kill the horse then start bowing the guy from a distance.

Few people do the unshift thing. I asked a while back on a thread "how to bridge faster in skywars" and few people said they did anything special. Skywars isn't really about bridging anymore, it's more pvp based.
