This 5v5 League is an unofficial event hosted by Ads_ . If you have any questions please respond to this thread or PM me and I will answer ASAP.Also please note that I have never organised something like this before, and although I have some help, this is very much a test to see what works and what doesn't.
I had an idea a while back to host an event like this as there was nothing like it at the time (although recently I think a similar event has been hosted on NA servers by Brndy/Team Kuro). The tournament is essentially a Round Robin (each participant plays each other once) and the results are updated on the Challonge page (below). After all the fights have been played, the team with the most wins place first. If teams are tied on wins, the tiebreakers are: Wins vs Tied Opponents, Game/Set Wins, then Game/Set Win %.
This will probably take place sometime after the 16th of July, and I expect it will take a few weeks to complete.
If you are a leader/officer in an EU clan and you would like to be included, please respond to this thread with your clan forum page, and preferably some suggestions :)

Things I need help with:
-Rules (they will be similar to the badlion tournament rules, but if there are any people think should be added/removed I'd like to know)
-Number of Teams (Likely 6-10. The more teams, the longer the league takes and the harder it is to organise)
-Kits (BuildUHC/SG seems like the obvious choice, but I'd be interested to see if people think otherwise. Maybe if each team played each other twice, the 'Home Team' could choose two kits from a given list?)
-Set size (Best of 7? 9? 11? Suggestions pls)
-Fight order (Should sets alternate between two kits like the 5v5 tournament? Should a set only be won a team has two games on the opponent?)
-Final tiebreaker (Not sure about Game/Set Win %, but will probably just leave it because it is unlikely to reach that point anyway. Might even be impossible but I'm too lazy to work it out.)
Yes, I need lots of help. Help me please.

Sounds like a great idea and it is really nice to see community members who aren't staff to take initiative and host something like this! I am sure that a prize for the winners could lure more people in but you don't have to have one if that is an issue! :)Posted on 08 July 2016 - 02:22 PM
@iPepsi Thanks for the comment :)I don't know about a prize yet, I was hoping people would join as it is just something competitive for clans to get involved in (as there doesn't seem to be much at the moment with Badlion not organising anything) but when I have a more defined idea for the tourney I will consider adding a prize.
