As a non donator I feel the pain of being out of ranked matches and having nothing to do, pretty much all of the ladders in unranked are boring and uneventful.I think if every player had unlimited ranked matches, more people would play. Also if everyone had unlimited ranked matches there would be more people becoming better pvpers,
one might even give danteh a challenge.
Some people may say that if there was unlimited ranked matches for everyone that would deflate the purchasing of donator and lion ranks.
There would still be the ability to start an event only with donor+ ranks and donors would still be able to make their name a different color, and I am sure badlion would think of something to make people want to buy ranks, even if they couldn't they still have the cosmetics.
People would also say that the non donors could just duel each other, that is not always the case, when I get on at 3 in the morning there is barely and other players on, much less players that want to duel someone, hell, half of the players on at 3 AM are AFK.
Something else that could come into play is if they added all the ladders to unranked, maybe even add only unranked ladders, such as combo or buildUHC combo. Maybe the staff could try this out for a little bit of season 13 and if anything doesn't work perfectly or close they can get rid of it.
