Hit delay when chasing
So I was watching a bit of stimpy and I notice that when he chases other people instead of spam clicking he times the hits like he's in 1.9. I also saw and heard painful say "I got the 1.7 on" while chasing and timing hits. Does anyone know why and is it available to 1.8 to? Whatever this jipsy is.

They do it to deal less kb and so keep the enemy in hitting range.
If you were to spam left click, your opponent would fly out of reach from the combined knockback.

Actually clicking fast on a running opponent causes you to slow down more since every click resets your sprint. That's what I believe he's avoiding by clicking slower.

He uses togglesprint so hitting people doesn't reset their sprint right?

I thought that was why people made a big deal about it being an unfair advantage

It might be the case, but the dealing less knockback thing I mentioned is a fact. Play some potpvp and try to time hits on an opponent running away, you'll notice the change.

But does it deal the same amount of damage as spam clicking?

Knock back isn't even a factor here that much. I mean in a way it is but the reason he, and many other hcf players don't spam click is because of how, like a staff member above said, you'll slow down. I don't know what idiot thought toggle sneak was an unfair advantage, but all it is, is to keep your sprint going. When you're hitting someone and trying to sprint, it'd be like being in 1.6 and trying to repeatedly tap W. You'll just go slow.

Togglesprint is toggle sprint, I mean you dont sprint while blocking or bowing right? Like your sprint breaks when u hit someone and it resprints when you stop

Not sure what you're trying to say but your sprint breaks when using togglesprint and vanilla sprint when you hit someone

Using this thinking, you should always time your hits in any pvp fight or you would be "slowed down."
