Hey everyone. Back after a long season 12 to finally head towards the last stretch. The ArenaPvP Season 13 Closed Beta will be starting this weekend. Here are some things to expect in the coming week:

1. Season 12 will be finishing out July 15th/16th (depending on time zone).
2. Season 13 will be starting on July 16th/17th (depending on time zone).
3. The ArenaPvP Closed Beta will be opening sometime on July 9th (depends when the developers can get it up and running [we will tweet it out])

A final time for the close of season 12 and the start of season 13 will be announced later in the week when we have scheduled a proper time to take the servers offline and put the new servers online.

Some notes about the closed beta:

1. Closed beta means only certain people can participate. In this case we will only be accepting Donator/Donator+/Lion/Youtube/Twitch/Famous/Famous+/Staff to participate. There is a chance we will open the beta up later in the next week but there is no guarantee, it depends completely on if we need additional testing or not.
2. The closed beta will start off in the NA and EU regions. As the week progresses we will slowly release other regions such as Australia, Asia, and South America. The reason we are not launching the beta in every region right at the start is (i) we are setting up servers still (ii) we need to stabilize things in a low ping scenario (database) first before we can look into other regions/problems
3. All ratings/rankings will be reset at the end of the closed beta. Full release there will be a fresh start to the leaderboards
4. The closed beta will end on July 14th (time not yet decided). This will allow us a couple of days to get the final pieces put in place before the full launch of season 13.

The full patch notes are not yet available and will be released sometime on July 15th (Friday) when we have finalized the feature list. There will be features slowly being added to the beta as they are completed. We are also looking to possibly relocate our North American servers (this will happen during mid-season or at the end of season 13 if we do it) to somewhere more centrally located.
