My opinion on s13
There are already a few threads out there and I thought I would create one of my own so there are more opinions before the release.

KB: There is straight up way too much kb and it is delayed. There is specifically too much projectile and crit kb, when a I crit someone they go flying. Why is too much kb bad? When you rod someone, they are knocked out of hit range and it makes for a rod spammy fight where you HAVE to rod your opponent to get a combo. High kb makes it easy to chug because your opponent will get at most two hits on you before sending you flying and they are unable to rodtrick because the rod does so much kb. The kb is decent for pot and I think it was very well done, gj

Hit Detection: Ok so I don't know much about this sort of thing but the hit detection is very low quality compared to the current s12. You really just have to play a few minutes of each server to notice the difference. I've also noticed that hits are very delayed when trying to initiate combos without a rod, and then once you have a combo hits register really quickly. This is almost as big of an issue as the kb and needs to be reworked before the release or a good portion of the playerbase is going to be moving to MineHQ.

Ladders: There aren't enough bow ladders, plain and simple. I think it was a good idea to listen to the community and remove adv uhc, horse and skywars but atleast one ladder should be added in to replace them. I also don't see the logic in removing iron build, I agree it was an unbalanced kit but it could've easily been reworked to be perfectly balanced out. In general though I think the most important ladders stayed and that's what matters the most. qq

Ratings: This is minecraft, not CS:GO. We don't need silver, gold, platinum, etc. everyone was happy with ELO, I see no need to change it. I remember seeing a while back that s13 was going to be a reworked arena plugin combining kohi and badlion. It literally took the kits from both and changed everything else. I personally think it's better to have a number rating so new players can easily understand where they stand skillwise instead of being classified as a metal. A default rating of 1400 elo is pretty easy to understand, so if your elo drops or raises you know where you stand. I'm not very good at explaining things like this but I hope it's somewhat understandable.

Chat: One of my favorite things about s12 and lower was that there was a big central chat where you could talk and chill with hundreds of other players. In the beta there is literally no one in the lobby and when you're in a match you are completely cut out of global chat. There needs to be a way for everyone to chat without being in the same match or lobby. It's barren and not anywhere near as much fun or exciting, it feels nothing like badlion.

Some Mechanical Things: I don't see the logic in being able to pick up arrows, any kit with a bow is basically now a bow spam battle. Diamond and build in particular are ruined. I was playing a match and I shot at least 30 arrows, when I checked my inventory I still had 60 arrows. I've noticed some maps that don't have glass walls, they look ok but I thought all walls were supposed to be glass?

can't try out s13 but +1, these points make sense.
Elo needs to be like s12, but with kohi's matchmaking
Arrows should not be able to be picked up.
yea global chat needs to be added again.
I'll stick on badlion for uhc, but me like many others will move to minehq for potpvp, thats the harsh truth they need to make the hit reg and stuff good like before the merge on prac2
