Hey everyone. So as we have discussed a few times in season 13 (which is just around the corner) we will be adding two new regions to Badlion and removing one region. We will be adding South America and Asia. I want to take this time to quickly discuss what to expect out of these new regions and what we are going to be doing.

With every new region we launch we always face a bunch of new problems/issues that we were not prepared for. Issues include: hardware problems, internet peering to users, internet peering to our databases, software problems, etc. We want to quickly say while we are going to do our best to make sure that these two new regions launch smoothly, there will most likely be some issues and we ask for your patience and cooperation as we work to solve the problems. The more active people are in providing us information when we request it the faster we can try to work to solve the issues. Please note that the locations that we are launching with might be changed over time based on feedback/issues. Be patient with us as we learn and grow in these new regions.

Another big thing that I would like to discuss quickly is donations/purchases. These new regions are going to cost us more money to run of course, and the survival of the new regions will heavily depend on donations/purchases on Badlion. If we cannot at least make back the money we are paying for servers on a monthly basis then the chance of these new regions surviving is low. From what we have seen in the past (with the exception of NA-West) normally we launch into a new region being slightly negative or barely breaking even and we eventually grow to the point where we are finally not losing money on the region. We hope that people reading this post and who are going to enjoy the new regions will help financially support it so that they can grow more. The more donations/purchases the more hardware/attention we can give the regions (development, support, etc).

I just want to thank the initial players of these regions who have helped us to get to this point of launching these two new regions. Please once again be patient with us as we work to improve our performance in the new regions over the coming months.

Hola! Bueno, pues ya que hemos hablado mucho de Season 13 (que ya está muy cerca de salir) hemos decidido agregar 2 nuevos servidores a Badlion y quitaremos un servidor. Estaremos agregando servidores de Sudamérica y de Asia. Yo quiero tomar este tiempo para poder hablar de lo esperamos de estos nuevos servidores y lo que estaremos haciendo.

Cada vez que sacamos nuevos servidores, siempre tenemos algunos problemas inesperados. Algunos de estos problemas podrían ser: Problemas de sistema, problemas con el tiempo que te tardas en conectarte, problemas de internet con nuestros sistemas, etc. Queremos decir que haremos lo que se pueda para que estos 2 servidores salgan sin problemas, lo más probable es que si haya alguno que otro, pero pedimos que sean pacientes y por su cooperación mientras arreglamos los problemas. Lo más rápido que ustedes los jugadores nos den información cuando la pedimos lo más rápido que podremos arreglar esos problemas. Por favor recuerden que el lugar que se están hosteando podrá cambiar en el futuro, todo depende de los problemas que haya y de lo que ustedes piensan de los servidores. Sean pacientes con nosotros mientras aprendemos de estos servidores y crecemos en ellos.

Otra cosas importante que quisiera hablar, se trata de las donaciones. Estos nuevos servidores nos van a costar mucho dinero y el tiempo que estos servidores vivan (ósea que puedan jugar en ellos), dependerá muchísimo en las donaciones de Badlion. Si no podemos conseguir el dinero necesario para poder pagar por estos servidores, las probabilidades de que puedan seguir jugando en ellos es muy baja. Por lo que hemos visto en el pasado (con la excepción de NA-West) normalmente cuando sacamos unos nuevos servidores en otras regiones del mundo, no conseguimos suficiente dinero al inicio, pero luego crecemos a un nivel en la que si conseguimos el dinero necesario y no perdemos dinero en los servidores de esa región. Esperamos que los que esten leyendo esto y se vayan a jugar a los nuevos servidores y vayan a ayudarnos donando al servidor, para que los servidores puedan seguir creciendo. Lo más que se done, lo más que podremos ayudar a los servidores.

Solamente quiero agradecer a los jugadores de estas regiones que nos han ayudado a llegar a este punto en el que pudimos sacar estos nuevos servidores. Una vez mas, por favor sean pacientes con nosotros mientras trabajamos en mejorar los servidores en los siguientes meses.

If for any financial, personal or business reasons. How much donation money do you need each month. To gain slight profit? If for personal reasons you can't tell, then ok.

Can't really say because we don't really know yet. If we get the same % of donations that we do in NA/EU for our servers than we will be fine. I'm just not sure if that will happen.

So how will this effect player counts on NA, EU, and AU servers? Also, will the quality of the servers be as good as NA servers? More donations come from NA then EU and then AU. NA servers have higher quality servers than Eu and Eu has higher AU servers. MasterGBerry even states that the more donations the better hardware.


So if the servers do make enough profit to keep them alive and online but not the best of the best quality servers what would happen next?

Since AU gives about 8% of your donations, your expecting Asia/SA to get same as NA/Eu?
I'd think it would get 5% atleast
Maybe 8%+ if lucky?
And Japan is really rich so no problem with money.
