A few questions.
1. For the few ladders that were removed,
a. Why were they removed
b. Could you compensate by adding similar ladders? The only issues I had were:
-Stalling in Skywars (especially if you were lagging and couldn't get there in time)
-Horse not traveling smoothly (It sometimes would pause randomly, possibly packet loss? TCPNoDelay might've helped that, but I think that would have improved on its own, due to the smaller server size for each matchmaking region)
-UHC was fun with infinite arrows, it made sense, as in UHC you have many arrows. It didn't have speed, so it was harder to dodge arrows, and the infinite arrows could also be used as a more powerful rod.

2. Would duels count as "unranked matches"? Or would they be infinite? Or, would you only be able to duel the other person unlimited amount of times using the kits that were unlimited that day? (Applying to non-donors). I know some content creators, albeit small, want to be able to record duels freely, and would like unlimited duels. I think that suppressing the amount of unranked matches per day would be more beneficial towards donations, which in return will improve the network, which is a good decision. However, duels shouldn't be restricted, for those wanting to record matches.

3. For the ranking system icons, could we make the icons less "Minecraft-like"? For one, I think the default textures are extremely appalling. And for the Masters, diamond sword, really? Also, instead of Emerald, could we change it to something like Jadeite (a green gemstone), or Platinum? Platinum is a metal, and isn't green, I know, obviously. But why do the colours matter? Starcraft uses Platinum, and it is silver, NOT GREEN! Jadeite would sound more professional than Emerald, if we were to use a green rank, for the specified reason you'll give me. Direct relation to something in-game would be awkward, especially in a competitive sense. For example, does "Legendary Eagle Master", or "Platinum" have to with CS:GO, or Starcraft? Not exactly, it'd kinda be awkward seeing an in-game rank like "AWP Master", or "Milky Way Lord", right? Emerald is kind of questionable like that too. Bronze, Gold and Diamond aren't too questionable, since other games have that too (Like LoL, CS:GO, Starcraft)

4. At the end of the season, could we be able to see our actual "ELO", in that sense (the true rating number of the MMR), and since some players may not like this system (I'm all for it, I think it's great that Minecraft Competitive PvP is taking this step, but some people like ELO better, since it's a "true measure of skill/consistency over a long number of matches"), could we have a vote to see how the players liked the system or not? If the majority of the playerbase liked ELO better, then we should revert back to ELO at the end of the Season.

5. I don't know how the Hit Detection or KB is yet, but all the changes seem great! How will the downtime be, and the Kohi merge be? Will the Practice Arena still be separated? Or will it merge? (Kohi KB imo is better than Badlion KB, first of all because of the smaller playerbase on the Practice servers, and it's generally better for pot kits.) I'm glad potlag will be fixed, because potlag on arena is EXTREMELY annoying. It's noticeable at peak times on Practice as well.)

Well, I'm extremely pleased with the changes so far, so, good job, Badlion dev team! I'm looking forward to Season 13, SG 2.0, and better hit detection, and better KB!

1. Skywars is being removed because it needs some tweaking and it will most likely come back next season once we re-launch our own skywars version. Horse was probably the most hated ladder on Badlion. Horses are really buggy as they always have been and it just did not make sense to keep this as a ranked ladder. It should still be available for unranked gameplay, I will have to confirm this. I still have yet a single person (not a single one) to start providing me proof that more than 64 arrows are needed in a UHC match. Still waiting guys. If you are going to bitch about something make sure you have evidence.

2. Duels are always going to remain free and unlimited. The purpose of duels is to be able to play with your friends. The point of unranked queue's is to play against random players. Duels have never been meant as a way for players to fight random players on the server.

3. We are keeping it the way we have designed it.

4. We are not switching back to ELO. We have spent a lot of time (months) researching this subject and looking into different systems. Not a single person who has a sane mind is going to want to go back to ELO once they have experienced the new system. We are looking into ways to make it more transparent how high you are in your division at the moment (probably will put some kind of point system or percentage bar as to how close you are to being promoted).

5. Practice is being shut down as was promised months ago. Season 13 is the full integration of Kohi's Practice code into Badlion's servers. The gameplay should feel a lot smoother overall due to a lot of changes we have made.

From the majority of people we have tested with the ping has ranged from 30-70 for most players. The host we have chosen has a very good set of connections to all of the surrounding countries. Don't complain about it when you haven't had time to try it yet :)

Exactly what I was going to say.

Now, on to my questions, Why did you remove horse? and if you wont add it back, can you atleast keep it as a duel kit? Incase you know, someone wants to battle with horse kit.

And, I have a question about the UHC Meetup thing.

How does that make sense? if a match starts automatically after 32 people join, you can't have more players than 32 seeing as no one will be able to join that queue anymore and it will just start a new queue. what you said makes no sense what so ever. just have maximum slots set to 32. It doesn't change anything if you have it to 64.





Read one of my earlier posts for your first question. The match starts at a minimum of 32 players and they auto start every few minutes if enough players are in queue, this will allow time for up to 64 players to join.

Hivlik has a video in which he fights Doe in UHC ladder, that match represents why players love UHC ladder, I'm sure both, Doe and Hivlik, used more than 64 arrows in that match. I'm sorry for my english, I hope you understood what I wanted to say. I know you probably tired of my messages but I want you to think again and maybe add arrows back. Ty for your attention.


Read my above post. I want evidence that you need more than 64 arrows in a UHC match. If even 10% of the matches you needed more than 64 arrows I would add more. I doubt it's more than 1% of matches that use more than 64 arrows. I will be happy to run a script to check how many arrows are actually used per match and will graph the damn thing too if it will stop people from complaining about something that is not affecting 99% of matches.

@MasterGberry I think that we should keep medals, but have some sort of number elo system to be exact, and to compare players with others. (Sorry if I'm not making sense with that statement.) And also, please remove 1 lava bucket from the BuildUHC Kit, it's really annoying to fight lava spammers, and reduce the arrows from 64 to 32.

Can we at least keep Skywars, Horse, and AdvancedUHC in duels???? My friend and I love horsing around in skywars and horse, as they are our favorite kits. I really don't care if they're removed from ranked, just keep them in the duels D:

Badlion is broken. I just tried the new S13, there are players glitched EVERYWHERE. It's unplayable, players keep disconnecting, players are lagged out in the middle of matches (Players that aren't even matched against me), please fix. The queue is broken, it says out of arenas, and teleports you everywhere. I know this is only the first phase, but I thought that an open beta would be better than starting it after the closed beta. I was proved right today, because of all the glitches. You can't even talk to the right moderators! This is kind of weird, please fix.

well badlion you just ruined the entire server. I don't know if I will ever play on it again. You can't join a ranked match, it doesnt tp you, it times me out every 10 minutes, and when I do get in a match, you can kill someone as soon as the match starts… you can literally "spawn kill in a sense". The chat features are mainly broken, queueing system doesn't work. Please do not release something that is nowhere near ready to be released. go back to season 12 please. no need for a new server. I like the new ranking system, so please change s13 to s12 but keep the new ranking system. #badlionkilleditself and #BadlionDead are starting to be spammed.
