I love it. I played my 20 and came out as gold 1. That normal? Aren't you supposed to be bronze.

Nope, some people play 20 matches and they are already emerald. It is completely normal.

The placement matches kinda decide where you go instead of having to rank up from 1400. If you're a good player it's basically like playing 20 matches and getting placed at 2k. Gold I is around 1800 I think

I personally hate this system. Maybe you actually have to be decent at the game to understand that ELO is way better.
