I just want to commend @LukeWilliams10 for having the greatest response to a mod app placed in the wrong section. He certainly outdid many other staff members by actually telling them what happened as opposed to:Locked.
And while it's good that it is messaged to the user, that user might not sign into the forums for maybe six months. But how Luke responded to it was better than what I've seen. He also encouraged the user to apply again.

Nah, if they don't manage to read and follow our (very basic) instructions then they should be blocked from being staff on that barrier.Although I agree that Luke is nice and polite, I simply don't have time often. I'll usually leave a hint for them to reread the page however.
