This is a bit of a sad idea but I think honestly it would be for the best, the AU server should not have ELO anymore, I suggest turning it into a cubecore map but also having the full set of badlion ladders for unranked play, this would force players to use Asia region for ranked matches and with the ever growing Asia region and the current AU playerbase would allow for a large enough amount of players that it is possible to get on the leaderboards and get higher ranks etc.Posted on 24 July 2016 - 12:27 AM
… Are you serious dude, there are so many people that play AU, why you gotta hate on all of us.Last edited on 24 July 2016 - 12:33 AM by SolrRaze
AU is a way larger playerbase than asia. Why would AU's ranked matches be removed for the benefit of asia?. If AU were stripped of ranked only a very small percentage of the current playerbase would move to asia, most would move to other servers. Asia was just opened give it some time for people to join.Posted on 24 July 2016 - 02:44 AM

Dood asia is bigger than australia dood y
-1 to removing AU since they have bad internet and wont be able to play on asia because they"ll get 200+ ping(except NZ players)

I'm sorry but its the truth. Asia had 250 players when it went live while AU had like 70

I had not heard of this issue as I am from New Zealand and have solid internet but apparently ISPs in Australia often have terrible routes through the country and even worse internationally so this would not be a viable solution for them at all. From what I measured I assumed that all Australians would be getting 100< milisecconds and this would be fine if it would be joining a large player base but it is simply not the case. Many AU players get 200-300 ping to servers in Asia so this is not viable.Posted on 25 July 2016 - 02:31 AM

70% of australians use shit isps with shit routes, I mean I get 220 ping to AU although I am in southeast asia which is way closer than LA(170 ping)
only about 50 players would actually join asia(+NZ players)
What they actually could do to help AU from lagging and crashing is moving to NZ but of course the aussies want below 10 ping so AU will die anyways

As far as I know most people loved the connection to Kohi AU so if they could just switch back to that company all would be good?

Nup -1. You need to look at this idea from other POVs, don't be selfish…Posted on 25 July 2016 - 08:31 AM

-1 From Asia badlion player here, asia badlion still has a lot, and i mean A LOT of problems, and it's more likely to change its host to japan anytime soon, so AU players will get MUCH MUCH worse ping on asia badlion than if it was hosted on singaporebtw i live in southeast asia
