Alright so the first thing i noticed when i came on for season 13 i was hyped for the new maps and there great but u changed everything else for no reason.The first thing i noticed when i played was the rankings system and i think it is just confusing, ive heard it to keep people in the same rank as there skill level but then how are people going to get better how are people going to learn advanced tactics if they cant fight people that are a higher rank then them it just seams pointless' Most if not all people that i have talked to about this liked the numbers/elo system better. Second was the Kb, yes the old kb was not perfect for a lot of reasons but at least it was fair for everyone, Most people besides a few took the same knock back and even if it was laggy it was fair, Yet now every time i fight a new person the kb is different and it is very very unfair which makes people want to leave. I have lost all motivation to play most ladders because of the rankings system (i know most global players think like this) is that with the elo system there were goals u can set with number like , setting a goal to hit 2k sg or 1900 iron and so on but with the ranks it just makes less people play and then even global players start stopping because none plays those ladders. Anyways thats it, this server will be diead in 2 more seasons if u keep listing to the top players that could care less about this game and not listing to the people that wake up and just play the game to play the game not to get popular or anything just to play.

The reasons against the elo system were good. It stops elo draining and lets people make mistakes from time to time, etc. Many people complained that they couldn't improve due to facing high elo players who dropped them 20 seconds in, you might not agree with it but others will.The KB wasn't changed at the start of the season but the amount of complaints I guarantee that made the devs do something about it. You need to take a look at the amount of work they are putting in to make this KB work for you guys. The devs, admins, etc.
Yes there are many bugs for Season 13 but who said that it wouldn't have bugs? Nothing is perfect and nothing ever will be. MasterGberry has seen the code for Season 13 and as he said on twitter he found the bits that were wrong. Be patient and everything will be fixed, one step at a time. Yes this Season hasn't had the smoothest of starts but it should hopefully get better.

This is all basically false, as far as I have seen Badlion has just increased its global player base potential immensely by adding two new regions. This is growing the Badlion community a great deal and will ensure that Badlion stays alive. I played Kohi last season but as far as I know Badlion has actually increased in size and even through all the problems on Arena is still growing. People you know personally or people you heard about may have quit but it seems that the server is much more alive than it was this time last year.Badlion is growing and getting stronger, your love for Badlion is dying, both of these scenarios are sad but the latter is true fam.
As for the 'top players' that the devs listened to, the changes made were actually to accommodate randys like you who may become scared when facing 2k ELO and freak out or believe they are facing some God when it is not really true. The changes to matchmaking are to make the entire system more fun as it is better to have a close game than a piss easy game and it is definitely better to have a fair game than getting raped by someone 800 ELO above you.
Side note: ELO was not removed, it is just hidden behind the image of your rank now, you can actually calculate the ELO brackets for each rank if you watch the rating you gain and lose between each rank :P

Honestly the ranking system in my eyes is point-less around 70-90% of people want elo back and the knockback is honestly terrible it seems like the knockback is more about by ping and luck literally EU people are playing on NA because they take no knockback and the same with na players playing on EU for the same reason. Like Examin said at least the kb in season 12 was fair for everyone this season its luck and ping. And I agree with most of his points except for the part about badlion dying in 2 season mainly because badlion is more than just arena their UHC's and other game modes will probably still do good but I feel arena will die out soon enough if they don't try to listen to their community more (I do understand that they do try really hard to make it good but it seems like they keep messing up).Posted on 25 July 2016 - 10:23 PM
