Plus if people complain about getting drained by like someone who is like 600/700 elo below them, they can just make the elo cap from like what 720 to like 300 to 400, solves the problem pretty well. Or just use kohi system. First starts around their elo and as time goes on it'll expand until it finds a player. Just copy and paste, tah dah.

if you lose to someone 300 elo behind you, you still lose like 28 elo nevertheless. I'd say bring back elo, but make the proportions of [player elo you lost to] and [lost elo] lower. Maybe 23 as the max elo you can lose?

Interesting idea Unshift but I hi k ha would make it more uncompetitive if that's a word. Well for 2ks it wold still be a pain in the ass but for like lower elo 1800 and lower u can get that back in like what, 3 to four matches. They want to add a sense that if you loose, it's the end of your life you know what I mean? So then it pushes people to not loose badly to like someone who is 300 elo below them.

Except in the worse way possible, like this is minecraft, we don't need league of legend here.

It works both ways, what I said. When elo is gained, the same amount is lost on another side, vice versa.
So the max you can lose is 23, and the max you can gain is 23.

I think because this season was such a drastic change for many players (newer player not really affected by this) as far as ranking goes, that it was really hard for a lot of old timers to warm up to the fact that there are many a major differences from the old season. As ninja stated, it has gone off to a rough start but again I think that is a result from the season being such a large change from the previous one. As the season progresses and we get more feedback the owners and dev's will take into consideration the fact that there are a alot of different views and opinions on the new season and will continually change/tweak things that they feel like need to be changed. They are always looking at the big picture and what they can do to improve the experience for EVERYONE.

Changing rating system from ez to understand numbers to csgo Bull crap silver, gold, etc. Talk about what a great freaking improvement decision they made. (Sarcasm intended, whoever thought of this idea can ***)

I don't like his opinion but you don't have to be someone important or recognised to have or speak it

The new ratings do not correspond to elo.
