Kohi pvper to Build uhc
Hey, so I started pvping with pot pvp and I've gotten pretty good at it, however Im wanting to become good at build uhc so I can do more uhc's, is there any advice that you could give me to help improve how well I am with secondaries, since I am fine with sword on sword combat but I suck with secondaries, and advice would be greatly appreciated!

1. Play 1.7 it feels smoother and you can blockhit, and rod trick people.<br />
2. Rod spam
3. Attempt to stay above 4 - 5 hearts at all times.
4. preserve heads
5. get your gaming water bottle ready

Rod when you're out of hit range b/c if you're too close then your opponent will hit you while you rod them.
The rod is just there to give you a little boost with combos every once in a while, don't rely on it to win a fight.
Learn to lava effectively, it helps a ton.
Set your last 3 hot bar slots to different keys, I set 7,8, and 9 to r f v because they are in a straight line.
w tap and strafe like you would in a pot match but remember that you don't have speed so combos are harder to get.
Only head when you're under 6 hearts.
Don't pregap.
If your opponent pregaps then bow away their absorption, if they are close to you when they preheal then is is probably a head so rod them away for 10 seconds to run out their regen.
Rod trick your opponent when they're healing (Rod+crit.)

People were tellling me that rodding before hand does more damage if you get the timing right, is this true?

It is a OP vanilla glitch that happens if you can get it right.

rod them, then immediately hit them with a sword. Basically try to hit them while the rod bobber is still on them, that's a good time reference point.
Few of my tips:
-don't lava like huahwi does, which is placing lava right before an exchange. that does 0 damage before they water it/basically just makes you lose a lava. lava in the middle of exchanges to get a ton of hits on your enemy while they water. lava does nothing by itself
-always try to have atleast 1 head in your inventory at all times, if you get dangerously low, gaps wont do the trick
-when you run away, don't place water under your feet to slow down your opponent, that's an outdated trick that most people know how to counter (blocking over it) and guarantees you losing a water, just rodspam them away
-bowing is the most op thing ever, shoot a ton of full powered shots into ur guy if they're beating you heavily in melee
-painfulpvp was a kohi player that kind of grasped the concept of builduhc, watch his build videos and sort of copy what he does, it might be easier than watching full time uhc pvpers
